### 5/5 — Fantastic graphics

*2014-03-30, version 2.4*

Love this app - I'm interested in tracking earthquakes as I live on the West coast. I've had a few different earthquake apps but when I came across this one I was really impressed with the function and beautiful graphics. Definitely my go-to app for tracking now!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-10-13*

Love how you can search the whole earth. Helpful for seeing, hour, day, week, month. I even like how the app will show you if the earthquake has a tsunami warning!

### 5/5 — This is a Good Application

*2013-09-01*

Currency of data, graphic display and UI are intuitive, enabling easy interaction. Very useful to geoscientists!

### 5/5 — Tremor app!

*2013-07-14*

This is amazing! Anyone who wants to be on top of earthquake activity around the planet for school projects, current events or basic interest THIS IS THE APP! Updates every 5 mins! I find it fascinating how much activity is going on & how very little of it hits the news!! Just a great tool to get info news media tend to ignore! The wild fire app is another awesome app to download!

### 5/5 — Cool App

*2013-06-27, version 2.3*

And very accurate

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-06-07, version 2.3*

Definitely a nifty tool if you are into global happenings.

### 5/5 — Best earthquake notification app

*2013-05-07*

Very fun and informative. ...check it out everyday at least once

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2013-02-06*

No extra garbage. Just what I want. Easy to see quake levels and locations. Spherical, rotating earth with zoom capabilities really provides my visual processing mind with an actual feel of where, when and how much this little planet is moving.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2013-01-23, version 0.2.1*

A clean, consistent display of the relevant data. And hey, free.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2013-01-07*

Tremor tracker is a very handy addition to my iPhone. I very much enjoy being up to date on earthquakes since my family lives many miles apart. Using this app I can see in real time what is happening.

### 5/5 — Genius!

*2012-10-16*

I love that it updates every 2 minutes and that you can zoom in.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not working

*2015-06-14, version 2.4*

I have an iPod touch fifth generation and none of the earthquake icons load.... It's just an empty map

### 1/5 — It was a great app

*2015-06-12*

This app worked great and was a 5 star app until about 2 weeks ago and it has stopped completely on my iPad and iPhone. My friends app quit working too. I just deleted and re-loaded and it still does not work. Now it gets only 1 star for the pretty color atlas. Get it working again and it will be a 5 star app again.

### 1/5 — Needs detailed map.

*2015-01-04, version 2.4*

Zoom in and no map? Frustrating.

### 1/5 — USELESS

*2014-12-18, version 2.4*

Doesn't work any more, I have iPhone 5.

### 2/5 — Useful, but…

*2025-04-14*

…can’t stop the screen from constantly moving. If you select a spot the screen moves a little. If deselect or choose another spot the screen moves even more. It’s like playing a video game of whackamole.

### 2/5 — Limited

*2022-11-29*

Very limited info on this app as compared to other apps. No way to fine tune it. A little difficult or glitchy like when rotating and zooming. Only works in landscape mode, unnecessarily. Wrong name for at least one country.
Only feature I like is the globe representation.
Sorry 2 stars.

### 2/5 — Needs this feature

*2014-12-20*

This is a nice app but what it really needs is the ability to utilize the iPhone accelerometer to detect earthquakes and automatically share that data to the cloud and/or the USGS.

Only when enough similar readings are detected from a certain region within a narrow timeframe would the data be considered legitimate and then be pushed back out to the map for all users to view.

The app could also be active only at certain times of the day/night that the user defines. As well as only be active when connected to pre-defined wifi networks. Such as Home or work.

Another option would be to only take accelerometer reading when it is plugged into power (such as when on your night stand or connected to a computer USB).

The app could also use the iPhone GPS to disable sensor reading when moving. As well as only record seismic data when the app detects the iPhone is laying flat on its back.

Another option would be to disable the seismic sensor data output when a face is detected with the front facing camera.

Requiring the app to be running in the foreground would also further prevent false readings.

This could easily, quickly, and cheaply create a huge network of seismographs around the world.

### 2/5 — Not very time sensitive.

*2014-04-18*

There was a 7.2 magnitude quake (pretty big) in Mexico about 90 minutes ago.
There is nothing that shows you within this app.
I was alerted by a news app.
Even hunting for a known quake is pointless with this app. Don't expect to see anything right after it happens. This example makes this app a total waste of money.

### 4/5 — Clever user interface

*2013-11-24, version 2.3*

The user interface for this app is intuitive, elegantly simple and very effective. And the app is good too :-)

### 5/5 — Great app for quick follow-up on quakes and tremors around the globe!

*2019-08-07*

The color-coded map pins indicating locations of quakes are easy to use and distinguish !when looking at the globe. Zoom in and zoom out works great. Locating large quakes is easy with the color coding. Identify areas of recent seismic activity is easy. The app loads quickly and the developer is responsive to bug reports! Thanks. Great app!

*2019-06-15*

### 5/5 — Observer

*2017-07-19*

Informative world wide..... and EASY to use!

### 5/5 — Best graphical earthquake app

*2016-07-10*

This application is easy to use and provides the best global graphical interface of any of the earthquake applications. It also allows you to easily toggle to check on earthquakes daily or even hourly. Perhaps the application title should be altered so that it comes up in a search of earthquake apps in the app store. Amazingly, this app is totally free and has no ads. Hopefully the developer will update this app to work with iOS 10 when it comes out. Thank you to the developer for providing such a nice app that is totally free.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2015-09-22*

Great app, simple to use and updated. Thanks

### 5/5 — First place I go...

*2015-01-26*

when I hear about EQs ! Use regularly on my twitter feed , just an all around great app showing EG on globe . Love it if they'd put fault lines & plates , but I sure can live with this app !

Real five pointer !
