## What is Tremula?

Tremula helps you see what is happening around Earth and above it.

Track nearby earthquakes, official weather alerts, flood activity, wildfire and thermal hotspot detections, asteroid close approaches, solar activity, NASA astronomy images, and the live position of the International Space Station.

Tremula brings together public data sources into one simple app so you can quickly understand local and global activity.

Tremula uses public data sources including USGS, NOAA, NWS, NASA, and other public space and Earth science feeds. Some NASA-backed requests are routed through a small Cloudflare Worker to keep API keys out of the app.

Background checks and notifications are best effort. iOS decides when background refresh is allowed based on battery, network, device usage, and system settings. Tremula should not be used as a sole source for emergency decisions. Always follow official local guidance during severe weather, wildfire, flood, earthquake, or other emergency events.
