One big problem with it is that it forces passwords and not all cameras have a passwords, especially where passwords are not even necessary and are a hinderance. Also, be careful with Trendnet products, I have gotten one of their NVR’s and found out that they don’t even support all of their own cameras with their own hardware/software rendering the NVR completely useless. UPDATE: App does not work with ios 15. The cameras worked great for several years (and still do, many years later). The problem is that Trendnet no longer supports the apps that enable viewing. I contacted tech/customer support and the rep told me that I had to buy new cameras because they would not update the app to work with the latest ios. So, now I have several hundred dollars worth of perfectly good but useless equipment. I have a personal policy of never purchasing products from any company that abandons its customers. Still no updates!!! This app is fairly easy to configure and does what it says it will do. Will handle up to four cameras. I set up two cameras twice (remote and local config for each) so I can pull them up on my cell phone remotely with router port forwarding or when I am on my local Wi-Fi.
