How can a serious company not even have a native iPad app? Look at TradeView - and immediately see and feel the difference. I hope TS updates their app soon to keep up with pace of innovation. ### 2/5 — Used to be good *2024-02-29, version 1.7.2* Ever since the 1.7 update rolled out, this app has worked terribly. ### 4/5 — A little slow on mobile *2023-12-11* Sometimes slow to update charts on a mobile device, even when other Apps are having no issues. The pop-up window asking for a review (which has popped up 25+ times) is annoying and insulting. Every vendor, every seller, every provider now wants a review on everything. This is just like some gimmick of a trading app. It is not professional nor usable. It’s a scam. Do not buy do not subscribe all the other five stars are bots as soon as you sign up you start receiving bot text messages. ### 1/5 — Pricing??? *2024-08-16, version 1.7.7* This site looks interesting but the pricing is confusing. Looking at reviews of the site and it states that the lowest plan starts at $35/month, which is reasonable. But then on the website it shows $107/month for the same plan. Huh? ### 1/5 — By far the worst 1500 dollars I’ve spent in my life *2024-08-07, version 1.7.7* A very useless app. I wish I had gotten the tradingview or something instead of paying this much money for trendapider The app is useless ### 1/5 — What to say *2023-12-17* Well I have been following trend spider on x for quite some time.. the app for iPads and tablets is very non functional towards using the pencil. I’m even having problems using the web browser for the adjustable trend lines and take profits and stop losses. It won’t even move the averages.. please tell me it’s a glitch with safari. I refuse to work with google (lord knows what it installs and keeps running in the background of iPadOS.) The only thing I can think of is get a friggin coder and make the web version into a full screen app. 2 years ago you said that there was “exciting new things that are coming in the app” well when you have a 12.9” screen and it uses 1/10th of the screen without any of the tools. Well gentlemen you f’ed up somewhere. If I owned your company and ran it like you do. The app would be limited to dos 1.0 without any interaction whatsoever. ### 1/5 — Trend may be your friend *2023-12-02* But the fact that this app hasn’t even made a tablet app (worthwhile) that is actually more secure than web access makes no sense. Wireshark is a hackers best friend. You can potentially lose your account via web access. The phone app isn’t any better. Get with the times. Even if your a high level trader that works on Wall Street, during lunch is checking their portfolio for opportunities. Interested in finding out how you should short TSLA during lunch? Well get back to the computer. I mean you Midas well limit your app to windows 3.1 than keep it there permanently. Get a professional python coder and make it! ### 1/5 — Not worth the cost *2023-09-12, version 1.6.0* Cost to usability ratio is not good. Place a channel, and you can’t move anything you’ve placed in it doing analysis. Seems like a rip off ### 1/5 — Not Very Good *2023-09-02, version 1.6.0* I use my iPad to do a ton of charting with the ThinkOrSwim iOS ap. It is very very functional. Most important is that it allows me to chart in Landscape format. The TrendSpider ap does not allow this. There is a rotate click that tries to do it, but the TS chart returns to Portrait format immediately. Is it a bug? ### 1/5 — Bugs out and delays constantly *2023-04-06, version 1.6.0* If I leave the app for even just a second, I have to wait 30 seconds for it to load chart data. Took me some time, but getting used to it. Much more capabilities in scanning for very specific setups you’re looking for again compared to TradingView. TradingView has little to no customer support, they rely on tickets that may or may not get support. Full disclosure, I have used both, but now only use TrendSpider. ### 5/5 — TrendSpider continues to innovate & improve *2023-07-28, version 1.6.0* I have been using TS almost a year now and I must say I am very impressed with their ability to consistently enhance their products, indicators, charting dynamics, scanners etc. TrendSpider’s backtesting capabilities are endless & super useful, and user friendly, one does not have to know how to write code. They even offers 1-1 coaching sessions for any noobs or those who want advanced training. TS custy service is Top Notch, quick to respond & always available. For example, if there is something on the platform/charts you’d like to see, simply put in a request & the team at TS will likely implement.
