Now I cannot purchase tickets with a CC. What’s the point of this app of you cannot buy tickets? ### 2/5 — Lacks critical information *2025-09-29* App doesn’t not show timetables or route details of replacement bus services. As a result, you need to be able to speak with a Trenord employee to get this information. ### 2/5 — Forget it if you’re not Italian *2025-09-03, version 4.13.1* Great for getting tickets and planning journeys but absolutely useless at getting the tickets onto your phone unless you’re Italian. Filling in the online form on the website, which you have to do to get a digital ticket, is useless. Although it gives the option of picking your country it then wants you to pick only an Italian region and then an Italian city where you were born. Big MISTAKE!! I made to the train just in time before it left and I was trying to purchase a ticket and surprise!! It shows the itinerary, but by the time I got to the purchase ticket option the APP doesn’t work! I ended up paying the regular fare inside the train PLUS a surcharge of €4.20 for not purchasing the ticket in advance! My Malpensa Express was canceled and I had to get a bus which was poorly organized out on the street. Translation is spotty. The site needs an upgrade. Filled in my details but the app insists I must have been born in Italy. It will not let me change it. Poor service in August 2024. A rail replacement bus service is in operation between Ponte San Pietro and Bergamo due to engineering works. Fair enough. What is really poor is NO signposts showing where you take the bus from. So we queued, with about 10 other people at the bus stop that says “Course per Bergamo”. There was a bus there that shot off as we all approached. Turns out that was the drop off area and that bus that shot off was heading to the pick up area to Bergamo, which is on the other side of a small industrial block but out of sight. So we had to ask the next bus driver who came along 15 minutes later and then we had a 40 minute unnecessary wait, all for the lack of signposts from the station. After creating an account and trying to buy tickets I got a cryptic error “attention a problem in the payment procedure…” But my other credit card works. ### 1/5 — Not useful if you don’t understand Italian *2024-06-05* Will not register if you say that you are a British citizen. After you put in your nationality as British, it keeps asking what’s your Italian province of birth before moving on.
