By the time I finally switched to Grasshopper 99% of the time I would see a message saying the app is having issues and engineers are working on it, it would not show me the name of the contacts I was texting, even when I asked for notifications to be on they would not show on my phone, when I searched for things most of the time it would not show any results, and and with all of that they raised their prices by $10 a month. This often added more stress to my business than help. If they want to offer this app they need to get completely new technology because it is awful. Just terrible. ### 1/5 — Price went up, features stopped working *2023-02-10, version 8.2.0* Tresta increased their pricing and made it unnecessarily complicated and the service still feels like it’s in perpetual beta. I’ve had to deal with their support team multiple times and today my text messaging fully stopped working. (As disappointed as I have been with the price increase and the service stability and quality, their customer service team deserves some serious awards. They are super friendly, kind, and helpful.) ### 1/5 — New update = can’t make calls *2023-01-27, version 8.2.0* The service has always worked pretty well for both phone and text. There’s been many times where are texts wouldn’t load were loaded slowly, but the phone part always worked. Since the new update, even after restarting my phone, I literally cannot make a single call. When I dial and hit the blue call button, I get the spinning wheel of eternity and the call never happens. Until that’s fixed, obviously I can’t go higher than one star (it’s a phone service used for business). ### 1/5 — Used to be ok? *2023-01-08, version 8.1.0* It was decent when I first signed up a few years ago. Then the call quality dropped badly. There is a very noticeable delay between when I speak and when the other side can hear me. There’s a constant delay and echo. Then the app started glitching. I get no notifications for text messages, constant issues and “we’re working on it” messages. Now they’ve unveiled their new and improved pricing structure that has doubled my monthly bill. 2 thumbs down! ### 1/5 — Changed my number *2023-01-06, version 8.1.0* About a week after signing up, they changed my number. I now have a thousand business cards with the wrong number. ### 1/5 — There are far better out there *2023-01-01, version 8.1.0* Let’s start with the app: the app has many options in its menu but whenever you tap on one, it directs you to the website. So you can’t do much other than text and place calls on the app. None of the business options on this business service are available on the app. If you go to the app on your phone, there is no login option, only on desktop. If you try desktop mode on your phone, still won’t work. You have to be at an actual computer/laptop. Now the website: the site didn’t allow you to start or see text conversations that were on your phone. Last month they said they updated the site to fix this (after 4 years of requesting it) but I still don’t see it. Lastly pricing: The worst offense in my opinion. My bill jumped 70% from the previous months. 70%!!! How did this happen? I didn’t change any of my services. Well, it happened because Tresta decided to gouge their customers. They now price the “platform”, “user”, and phone number separately. This is complete robbery, in my opinion. The “platform” is the website and app. You pay for the platform but you can’t do anything unless you pay for a number. You can’t use that number unless you have a users. They list these services as individual but you can’t use the service without all three. This is like selling you a car but telling you the steering wheel is extra and so is the engine. There are many other options for small business phone service and cheaper after all these add-on requirements. Go elsewhere. ### 1/5 — So frustrating *2022-08-18, version 7.1.0* This is the worst app I’ve ever used. It has constant loading issues where I need to sign in and out and sometimes turn my phone on and off to load every single new message that comes in. It intermittently does not alert me to new messages coming in. It always says there is an error and “engineers are working on it…” they’ve been working on it for months. Do yourself a favor and do not use this app. ### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work *2022-07-28, version 7.1.0* App won’t load texts, even from previous day. Takes long time to do any basic function that is claimed. Look elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Can’t block harassment numbers *2022-07-06, version 7.0.7* I put in several requests over years to be able to block numbers that harass my business through the app. Tresta let these requests fall on death ears. If it was up to me I would uninstall it and never use it again but unfortunately I’m required to use it for work. This app has always been terrible and buggy and they raised the price of the service to boot. ### 1/5 — They take no pride in their software *2023-11-30, version 8.5.0* Bug after bug, revision after revision they can’t get their code together to fix this app. For starters it has an errror message that pops up 50% of the time that there is a problem and their engineer are aware. You can’t make any calls until you force quit the app. Also the UI is very sloppy easy to mistake pushing wrong buttons, when listening to recordings the phone locks and shuts off and you have to unlock to finish listening. They are super friendly, kind, and helpful.) ### 1/5 — I lost business and this isn’t right *2023-02-27, version 8.2.0* I lost tons of business because the app has so many bugs and they seem to be endless unfortunately and they’re going from bad to worse. I’ve spoken with support and they’re even saying that lots of their clients have been cancelling their subscription due to this and many more issues ppl continue to have with call drops, texts messages not being sent/received, calls not connecting to the app, and many much more.
