If you can even purchase a ticket on here it takes up 40mins to post & it’s only valid for 4hrs. What kind of logic is that?? In my case I couldn’t even purchase one because while trying to enter my address in the credit card section you can only pick from predetermined addresses that pop up when you start typing. If your address isn’t in there then they don’t let you even make a purchase by filling it out yourself. Makes absolutely no sense. Florida man is real people & it’s state run. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE *2025-11-22, version 4.1.2* This app stole my money. I payed for a ticket , the money was taken out of my account but the app never generated a ticket for me. I had to buy a paper one at the station. Won’t recognize or validate billing address so you can’t purchase a pass. It forces you to select from the drop down list, but the only options include PO Box and locations with “Miami” in the name. Most interactions result in some kind of hang/freeze. I fought my way through the account creation process anyway, and received the email address validation email. After getting a successful validation message on the web, I attempted to log in on the app and received an invalid credentials message despite using a password manager, so I know I was using the correct password. Eventually it locked me out and presented a message that said to reset my password to unlock my account. I entered my email address on the reset password page and got a failure message stating that my account was locked. Nice tight failure loop. Tell your developers to take a look at New Orleans’ Le Pass (assuming y’all aren’t outsourcing the work to India). That app is the gold standard for public transportation. ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE APP!! *2025-04-10, version 4.1.2* Give yourself 30 minutes to be able to figure how to put your address in and how to buy a ticket. Get paper and pen if you need to reset your password. The temp password is in your email, you can’t copy the whole thing to paste it, and it’s a results password with a ridiculous amount of odd characters, and hard to tell what are letters and what are numbers. I had to reset 3 times because I couldn’t get it right. Address box requires drop down menu to be fully filled on checkout and only allows for addresses Miami, FL; Miami, OH; etc. Every other train in the world allows tap your CC and ride not sure why Tri Rail refuses to update especially when in direct competition with brightline, a much better product. ### 1/5 — Can’t purchase tickets *2026-07-16, version 4.1.2* This app is okay. I am able to see exactly where the train is located and it’s status. ### 5/5 — Very useful *2021-05-23, version 3.0.6* This is a great app that shows you where Tri-Rail trains are and how long. It also gives schedules and a fare calculator for travellers. There is also a ‘My Ride’ feature that will tell you where and when your train is boarding. It is useful for commuters and helps the traveling public. No issues with crashing at all. Great app! ### 5/5 — Love Tri-Rail *2019-09-28, version 3.0.1* Tri-Rail has gotten much better over the few years I’ve been riding Tri-Rail. I would like to know if Tri-Rail could put credit card readers on the ticket machines? ### 5/5 — New User Interface On Point! *2019-08-18* I’m an avid user of the Tri-Rail Live Tracker and when I logged onto the app I was surprised at the amazing the new look of the app. Much more responsive and modernized. I love the “My Ride” feature. Something I look forward to in the future is the ability to purchase a digital ticket using apple pay (preferably) or credit card. This way we not only save paper, but for those who don’t have time to stop to get a ticket can easily buy one ahead of time and show the digital ticket to the checker. Overall, great job! ### 4/5 — My Wish: Apple Card Support! *2022-10-07* I take the train regularly and I wish there was Apple Card support on the app for monthly EDP passes and for Tri-Rail Easy Passes. I don’t carry a wallet any more with digital wallet technology. The app has improved over time, and tapping on/off and digital wallet support would improve this leaps and bounds! ### 4/5 — Delay with tracks *2022-07-06* When I get to the station. I looked at the app but it doesn’t seem to tell you and accurate track number when I put the information going from south to north. Overall, it is very handy to know which time the train will be arriving. ### 4/5 — Finally back on track *2019-07-27* Really glad to see this App getting attention again. Some repetitive items in the GUI, but overall returning to function after a time of neglect. Schedules are back up and running, and tracker seems a lot more solid and reliable now. As to the complaints about delays, transfers etc., understand the App does not run the trains. That’s another topic and place (not disagreeing with some of those complaints). ### 3/5 — Buggy and slower overtime *2024-09-04* Not sure how much traffic we are looking at this app but taking so long to load my wallet and buy passes. This is a paying feature of this app and shouldve been looked at.
