## What is Triage 2?

### 1/5 — But how do you email?

*2025-01-20*

Maybe it’s me, but after setting up my account, I couldn't find anything to open an email draft. Maybe it doesn't do that. I'll try something else.

### 3/5 — Needs More Features

*2023-12-19*

It's not a bad app but it's not usable for me. For starters I want to be able to change archive to delete. Secondly there's no way to star or mark an email to remind me to go back and do something with the email. If all you want is to go through an email and only mark read, archive, or reply this will work fine for your workflow.

### 5/5 — Two feature requests

*2023-11-17*

1. When I leave the mail in my inbox, keep it as unread.
2. Ability to share the email to a different app — I would like to triage a message into a todo in my task manager.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work with iCloud

*2023-11-04*

It works fine with gmail but stopped working with iCloud after a couple days. It is easy to quickly review email, but inboxes are not unified (when iCloud did work). I requested a refund for the upgrade since you can use the app free with just gmail. I see now this iCloud problem is long running. Apples should probably address that with the developer.

### 1/5 — The old version is better

*2023-06-29*

Is this app still being developed? I’m going back to the old version.

### 1/5 — Didn’t work for me

*2023-06-03*

As many good things that people have to say about this app, I really wanted this to work. Upon opening the app, immediately says Couldn’t Connect to iCloud. No support option or troubleshooting section that I could find on the website.

### 1/5 — Keeps Crashing upon Launch

*2022-05-31*

I was hopeful this would knock out the other contenders, but: I have two Apple Accounts that I generated App Specific passwords for and saved in a PW Manager: One password isn’t accepted and the second one was but now the app crashes immediately upon launch. Yikes! Problem with Apple so far…and this isn’t my first “rodeo” using App Specific passwords…I uninstalled in the hopes it would erase my data and I would attempt my other non-apple accounts, but the App somehow remembered my AppleID pw and started crashing again.

### 4/5 — A nice app except for one thing.

*2022-03-22*

Very good utility for taming an unruly inbox.

However what it’s missing at the moment is a ‘flag’ or ‘star’ option in the sorting process, to mark email that’s been seen but you might want to come back to later.

### 5/5 — Great utility for email!

*2022-02-21*

As someone who has a crazy influx of email on a daily basis this has become a go to tool in my belt for dealing with email.

### 4/5 — Great for its purpose

*2022-02-14*

I love the app for weeding through my emails and setting aside emails to action later. I’ve paid for the subscription to add my other accounts, only to find there is no unified inbox. It isn’t a deal breaker, but I would have thought twice about subscribing had I known.

Easily 5 stars if unified inbox is added.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2.0 — 2026-07-05

In v2.2 the changes are mostly behind the scenes:

• We've upgraded how we communicate with IMAP email servers (including iCloud and Fastmail).
• Replies and forwards no longer stack up "Re: Re: Re:" prefixes on the subject line.
• Plus a number of other small bug fixes and reliability improvements, including better error messages when we run into problems.

Coming next:
• v2.3 brings the unified inbox you've been asking for, plus accessibility improvements throughout the app.

Thanks for using Triage!

### 2.1.2 — 2026-05-11

We're working hard on v2.2 – that's coming soon, stay tuned!

In the meantime, some important bug fixes and improvements in this update, including:

  • Improvements to Reply, Reply All and Forward screens. Quoted body and signature placement match what readers expect, and replies thread reliably in Apple Mail, Outlook, Fastmail, and Gmail.
  • When replying, we now pick the original sender deterministically. No more occasional surprises in multi-recipient threads.
  • Smarter Gmail handling: Reconnect actually re-authenticates, big threads load without freezing, and contact search is much faster.
  • Fixes to IMAP accounts: archive and keep behaviour honoured consistently, faster card previews with line breaks restored, and threads no longer occasionally show duplicates.
  • Better syncing of settings and subscription details with iCloud.
  • Removed the annoying prompt for in-app reviews (we know, finally ... but better late than never!).
  • iOS 26 polish: subscription buttons updated to the new glass styling, the invisible "Open Settings" button on iCloud accounts is fixed, plus dark-mode tidy-ups and other small UI fixes.

Thanks for using Triage!
