### 2/5 — “All Paths Closed” New Title Suggestion

*2020-09-22, version 5.16.0*

Given the fact that half the greenway has been closed, under construction, or destroyed for the last 3 years with no attention from the city... let’s just all agree to call our “free greenway” what it really is.

### 3/5 — Missing connector

*2020-07-16, version 5.15.0*

Hello,

The green line stops at MacArthur drive and then starts again after Davis Park, but the new greenway connector is open and your map should show the connection with a green line.

I ride this route regularly.

Thanks
Lisa

### 3/5 — Greenspace App missing vital info

*2020-03-27, version 5.6.0*

What do the red lines mean??

This app needs a Legend and distinguishable Trail names and Mile Markers. I would use it if it had that info.

### 4/5 — Wish it had ....

*2020-01-01, version 5.4.0*

1) I really miss being able to see the distance I’ve gone. I see there’s supposed to be some way to see stuff in health kit, but I don’t use health kit, and the steps to see the distance are not clear. I don’t need a log, just to see how far I’ve gone on my ride today. Especially since we’re working on the 100 mile challenge. (This is by far the biggest a shortfall, and was one of the main reasons I used it. )

2) Not all the public bathrooms and water are marked.

But it’s great to have a map.

### 3/5 — RDU mountain bike trails reference

*2019-10-09, version 5.2.1*

I’m Vice President of Triangle Off Road Cyclists. I just looked at your updated version and notice that you don’t have any reference to current sanctioned singletrack trails for mountain biking yet you have the RDU land labeled for future mountain biking. Please note that this is land Wake Stone has offered to lease from RDUAA for only 10 years as part of its quarry lease for trails but this rent obligation can be terminated by Wake Stone at any time. And no one knows if these trails will ever be built. I think it’s misleading to include this label and not label existing trails like those at nearby Lake Crabtree County Park.

**Developer response:** Thanks for checking out the app. All of the data for the app is provided by each individual municipality (so in this case the City of Raleigh). It would be up to them as to what to include for parks and greenways.

### 2/5 — Rgreenways

*2019-07-30, version 4.21.0*

Where are the trail mile markers so I can judge how far I’ll need to walk?

### 1/5 — Backward Step

*2015-06-21, version 3.0*

The current version does not include the most valuable feature of the original version... The use of GPS to track your current location on a trail, tracking the time and distance of your walk or bike ride. Without this feature, this App is nothing more than electronic map... Totally useless and step backwards. It's like replacing automobiles with a horse and buggy.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2015-06-16, version 3.0*

What happened? This app broke after the update... I am no longer able to pull up details on a trail section and the parking locations only show a number string and no real usable information. The "submit missing features" page covers up the submit button with the keyboard so you can't actually submit a feature. Please fix....

### 4/5 — Exciting!

*2015-06-15, version 3.0*

So very happy to see the new trails showing up plus links to all the area communities trail systems! Can't wait to get out and see how all the functions work. Good job

### 3/5 — Needs a few extras

*2015-05-26, version 2.1*

Not a bad app. It does a good job of locating trail and tracking, but I think a couple of things would make it even better. It really only is useful once your on a trail. It would be nice if you could use it to plan out a trip and measure distance prior to using the trails. Also, adding the mile markers as a reference would be nice. One more thing, it doesn't show the new connection near horseshoe farm.
Again not a bad app. I like it, I just think there could be a few upgrades.

### 4/5 — Next Update???

*2014-11-24, version 2.1*

Love this app, but desperately needs an update to the map. City has done an excellent job opening new trails, but app falls short on recent additions. Would rate it 5 stars if updated more often.

### 1/5 — Can't find Greenway

*2014-09-26, version 2.1*

Only get message "Greenway not found." I assume it should be able to locate me, but it doesn't. Coming from out of state and in Raleigh only occasionally I thought this would be helpful. Disappointing.

### 2/5 — Needs an update

*2014-04-19, version 2.1*

Maps need to be updated. Walnut creek trail map is incomplete.

### 2/5 — Missing a lot

*2014-04-04, version 2.1*

The map is not up to date; doesn't show the trail that passes through Centennial. Also doesn't show paved/unpaved distinction. Descriptions of trails are not very helpful... Would like to see useful stuff like whether bikes are allowed or how hilly it is. There is no way within the app to send feedback to developers.

### 4/5 — More accurate than government PDF

*2013-10-06, version 2.1*

This app is useful as an accurate map of the greenways of Wake County, NC. The PDF map from the city of Raleigh is what is *planned*, not what exists. For instance, this app correctly shows that the Neuse River Greenway has a gap at Horseshoe Farms Park.

The pins that show greenway entrances are useful, but contain long technical descriptions of the trails that are too much for humans to read.

The nearest greenway feature (big button in the middle) may correctly tell you which greenway is closest, but when you pick one, it takes you to the beginning of that greenway, not the closest entrance.

### 1/5 — Will not install

*2013-05-09, version 2.0*

On ipad 2. Tried 4 times. Starts and never completes.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work.

*2021-09-14, version 5.20.0*

App constantly crashes. Won’t even load half the time.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2020-09-14, version 5.15.0*

Will not open, app crashes when trying to open on iPhone 6. Tried reloading multiple times same results.

### 1/5 — Instructions?

*2020-07-25, version 5.15.0*

This app makes me feel so stupid.... I created a login when I first opened, but now it is telling me I am not logged in and and I cannot figure out how to login.... I find this app very frustrating, not intuitive at all.... maybe not working properly on my phone.

Thanks,
Mark

### 1/5 — Does not download

*2020-04-17, version 5.11.0*

Non-functional. Will not download.

### 1/5 — Should be no stars

*2020-04-05, version 5.10.0*

It doesn’t do anything. Why you take away the previous one?

### 1/5 — Failure

*2019-10-08, version 5.2*

I’ve used Rgreenway for several years now and it was great! I recommended it to friends and was thrilled to share such a great product. Now the “upgrade” to Greenspace. You traded usable functionality like parking information for social media sharing. Can I roll back the update?

**Developer response:** The parking data that was being used in the old RGreenway app was no longer being supported by the city, and we want to ensure that we provide the most accurate data possible. We are working to add this data back in an upcoming release.

### 1/5 — Don't bother

*2015-08-09, version 3.1*

This app used to be great now it's just a map. Use google instead, this doesn't offer anything more and has less.

### 1/5 — Truly awful app now

*2015-08-06, version 3.1*

June 2015 update was huge failure. Took away GPS, mile and time markings, satellite view. As if this was the a 1st attempt and app prior would have been the new and improved. Check all version reviews. Others are agreeing this version not worth using.

### 1/5 — Went from good to useless

*2015-06-30, version 3.0*

I liked the previous version of this app but since the last update it is now useless. I have used this app previously to see where I am and direct my bike rides. Now it has basically three buttons and they don't do anything useful. If this app is not fixed or taken back to a useful state I'll delete it.

### 1/5 — Hoping for a change or deleting app

*2015-06-23, version 3.0*

First I work in the cycling industry and I recommend this app to several of my customers. However after the most recent update I will no longer be recommending this app. The older version was much more user-friendly, maps loaded faster, you could track yourself on GPS, and the Apple always pull up to where you were at and show you the green was around you. This update is a huge step backwards for this app and I hope they corrected soon. The old version of this app was a four star app it's a one star app now only cause I couldn't give it my stars.

### 5/5 — Is this app still running ?

*2023-08-29*

I’m hoping to use this often like almost daily for commuting but having a hard time getting it to launch is it still up to date ? Ready to go ? Love the concept and look forward to using it

### 5/5 — So helpful

*2020-06-13, version 5.15.0*

Been looking for something like this. Everyone I share this app with loves it too!

### 5/5 — Awesome, great free app

*2014-09-20, version 2.1*

Fairly accurate greenway map. It's helped me find my way back to a path once or twice. I'd highly recommend this app to any Raleigh resident.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-06-30, version 2.1*

Great and useful app! One request. Wish there was a way to turn off parking markers. They are big and make it difficult to see the trails on the map.

### 5/5 — Pretty cool and useful

*2013-04-30, version 1.3*

Comes in handy when trying to figure out the length of trails

### 5/5 — Only works on iOS 6 now (updated)

*2012-11-16, version 1.3*

Well the app was nice when I was able to use it on my iPhone 4S, then they sent out an update and now it will ONLY work on iOS 6 (I haven't updated to iOS 6 yet), that's not cool.

Ok they fixed the iOS issue and now I can use the app again, YAY! The app comes in handy when riding on the many trails in Raleigh, there are so many to explore and I took a wrong turn recently, I could have been very lost but wasn't. I'm a happy girl

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2012-09-13, version 1.0*

One initial comment is that your color choices for roads, greenways and marker icons is not at all good for those color blind folks amongst us!!!

### 5/5 — RalphC

*2012-09-12, version 1.0*

Great app! Very usefull!

### 5/5 — Raleigh on an app!

*2012-09-11, version 1.0*

Great app! Good for those morning trail runs!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2012-09-06, version 1.0*

No crashes and a much needed app in Raleigh.
