I’ve been looking for new places to eat in San Fran and love finding little unknown restaurants. I’ve been following many podcasts lists for my commute and Netflix lists for the weekend. This app makes it so easy to make lists on the go - I’ve been adding to a book list through out the year after I read them. Would definitely recommend! ### 5/5 — The best for discovering and tracking what I love to do! *2019-01-14, version 2.5.0* Tribalist is so fun and easy to use. I use it to discover movies, tv shows, music and books and I keep my dream travel destinations here too. Whenever I want to watch a movie with my kids I just go to my Tribalist list. It’s also great for being able to recommend things to friends! The recommendation engine makes it so friendly to build lists and everything is actionable if you want to purchase. Awesome!! ### 5/5 — Better than bumble and tinder *2017-02-22, version 2.3.7* Finally an app that matches you based on what truly matters, the things you like. The other apps are just about looks. This takes it to the next level so there's something that is actually in common and can be the basis for conversation if and when you choose to meet. For example, I really enjoyed reminiscing back to the 90's and all my fav music as well as the 80's for fav movies. You would think it would manually let me add places, but no. Like I said the app is useless. ### 1/5 — Sign up fail *2019-08-12, version 2.6.9* Big bug in user name category. Will not accept any input. Returns with red error message. ### 1/5 — Beware *2015-08-01, version 1.5* Do not sign up. You'll never get rid of their spam mail. I'm still receiving daily mail despite having unsubscribed at least 10 times! ### 2/5 — Needs an add item feature! *2019-02-18, version 2.5.2* Great idea BUT you can’t add something that doesn’t apears on the catalog... This makes the entire app useless. For example, I tried to do a book list and none of my favorities were on the catalog therefore I couldn’t make the list. I really don’t want to send a message for each missing item to the developer, it would be an endless task. ### 2/5 — Too buggy *2019-02-10, version 2.5.2* Just started my first list and it won’t add more than four titles, won’t save my synopses or my full list description (only the first two words)though I’ve typed, saved/added, retyped/re-added them multiple times. ### 2/5 — Good concept, not great app *2019-02-10, version 2.5.2* One thing I was looking forward to seeing was the ability to add something new that hasn’t been added before. That isn’t there. There is no landscape mode on the iPad, which again, is something I was expecting. Overall, I don’t think I will use this app. **Developer response:** Hi Bsoyks. One request: do not force portrait mode. This makes the app unusable on an iPad with a Smart Keyboard. ### 4/5 — Why can’t we rank the lists? *2019-02-15, version 2.5.2* I love almost everything about this idea and the app - but I made my first list of top films and I couldn’t rank them in any particular order. It was chosen for me. Am I missing something or is that how this works... if that’s how it works I think that should change! I was going to transfer all of my top ten lists over to the app but I don’t know if I’m going to if the order is going to be random. ### 5/5 — My personal "wants" for future updates *2019-02-20, version 2.5.2* The app is great, but there's some additions that I'd personally love - when you open up a list, it's like it opens up in a web page format, this isn't bad, but its caching isn't that good if it were all app based, changing the contents of the list to be native would be great - allow us to save the whole list, for example, i found a list of movies that I'd like to watch, instead of saving each movie to a list, i want ti be able to save the whole list Ps, when you go into a list and try to save something from the list to your own list, for example when you try to save a movie to a list, the xlose button is all the way in the left bottom corner of my phone, iPhone xs max, rearrange that button ## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — List Makers Unite! *2019-02-15, version 2.5.2* As an avid list maker I’m always compiling information, best of this and best of that. There never seems to be enough categories and no limit to those things I compile. This is why I love this simply curated app that allows you to browse those things you care about and discover new content on just about anything.
