Tribe is a social network for travelers, digital nomads, and anyone who wants to discover new places, connect with like-minded people, and explore their city without giving up their privacy. TRAVEL MODE Turn on Travel Mode when you arrive at a new destination and discover people, plans, and recommendations near you. Connect with locals and fellow travelers without exposing your exact location. TRIBE RADAR Find like-minded people around you, privately. Tribe groups activity by area to help you discover what's happening nearby without showing individual points on the map. TRIBESPOTS Save your favorite places: cafés, viewpoints, restaurants, secret plans, or spots you still want to visit. Share them with your Tribe or keep them just for you. LEVELS AND ACHIEVEMENTS Every trip, connection, and interaction earns you experience. Level up, unlock exclusive frames, and show your progress within the community. Send it to several people at once and find them all in the Postcards tab in chat, with received and sent kept separate. CHAT Swipe a message to the right to reply, with the full quote and its content. You can now edit and delete your messages too, just for you or for everyone. TRAVEL PASSPORT The card flips over and shows a real back with your stamps. Share your invite QR and add your passport to Apple Wallet. GROUPS Import places from your wishlist straight into the group's list. And when you post, choose which group it appears in. EXPLORE The weather where you're looking, right on the globe. ALSO A welcome screen and a user guide, activity reminders you can turn off in Settings, and a faster, steadier app on a poor connection. ### 1.5.1 — 2026-09-17 What's new in 1.5.1 STORIES - New viewer: the progress bar follows the video's real playback, stories are shown in order and full screen. - Post stories faster: videos are lighter and upload in the background, even with the screen locked. - Progress bar while posting, with automatic retry if the connection drops. - Blue ring on the avatar when there are new stories, mute the video with one tap, react and reply right from the story. LOADING ADAPTED TO YOUR CONNECTION - Photos and videos load at the best quality for your network and upgrade on their own when you move from 3G to 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi. - No more black screens: every photo shows a preview while it loads. - When your connection comes back, the feed and stories refresh automatically. PROFILE AND CAMERA - Your profile keeps its photos even when you lose signal. - The camera and gallery tell you clearly when a permission is missing. MORE - Fixes in notifications, chat, radar, albums and groups, plus general performance improvements. ### 1.4 — 2026-08-15 • Upload photos and videos without waiting: the upload keeps going in the background even if you close the post or keep browsing. • New full-screen viewer to see your photos and videos in detail. • More stable sign-in and much longer sessions (no unexpected logouts). • Fixed the "double back" when leaving a community profile. • Stability and performance improvements across the feed, map, and posts. ### 1.3 — 2026-08-07 • Message requests done right: send a first message and let the other person accept the chat. • More reliable TribeSpots: spot chat is only for people who join, real-time new-message alerts, and automatic cleanup of plans with no activity. • Revamped Wishlist: see each place's real content in a wider gallery; places you still need to complete are visible only to you. • Smoother sessions: you stay signed in far longer, and if your session expires we take you straight to sign-in instead of getting stuck. • Stability and performance improvements across the feed, map, and chat. ## Apps similar to Tribe | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Radara](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/radara/id6781242860) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [Rethink Retail](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/rethink-retail/id6802791266) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [Gisi](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/gisi/id6780263578) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [Hey You App](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/hey-you-app/id6758736650) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [Wapi: Events for inner circles](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/wapi-events-for-inner-circles/id6758156421) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [EyesOnMe - The Social Game](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/eyesonme-the-social-game/id6759470753) | — | Free | Social Networking | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
