## What is Trifecta Triathlon?

Trifecta is your adaptive triathlon coach. Tell it your race and your schedule, and it builds a complete swim, bike, and run plan that maps every session to race day, then adapts as your training unfolds.

WHY TRIFECTA

Multisport by design. One plan that balances swim, bike, and run around your week, your equipment, and your limiter, instead of three disconnected apps.

Adapts to you. Log how a session felt or sync your watch, and the plan recalibrates your paces, zones, and load, so tomorrow fits how today actually went.

Injury-aware. Training around a niggle? Trifecta eases load on the affected sport and trains around it, so you keep moving without making it worse.

Built on real coaching science. Periodized base, build, peak, and taper phases. Safe load ramps with recovery weeks. Threshold-based pace and heart-rate zones. An easy-hard balance that keeps most of your training aerobic.

FOR EVERY DISTANCE

Sprint, Olympic, 70.3, and full Ironman, or just train for all-round fitness. Set custom distances if your race is unusual.

APPLE HEALTH

Trifecta integrates with the Health app. In Profile > Apple Health, grant read-only access and Trifecta reads your swim, bike, run, and strength workouts from Apple Health and checks off the planned session each one matches — no tapping "done". It never writes to Apple Health, and your workouts are matched on your iPhone rather than uploaded. Strava works too, if that is where your watch syncs.

TRAIN THE WAY YOU LIVE

Choose your weekly sessions, your rest day, and your long day.
Tell it your equipment and it adapts: no pool means dryland swim work, no gym means bodyweight strength.

Your plan, your paces, your race. Trifecta does the coaching so you can do the training.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-07

A NEW LOOK — Trifecta has a new mark and app icon, and it now follows your phone's light or dark setting properly, launch screen included.

ASK THE COACH TO CHANGE SOMETHING — "Give me an easier one today" now produces an easier session, not advice about one. The coach shows you exactly what it will do and waits for you to confirm; the plan itself is still changed by the same engine the buttons use.

SHARE A SESSION — Finish a session and you can share it as a card. It reports what you actually did, not what was prescribed.

THE PLAN EASES ITSELF — Mark a session rough and the next few days come down straight away, instead of waiting a fortnight for a trend to notice.

FIXES — Swiping down on a session sheet dismisses it instead of selecting text. Sessions you have already finished no longer show under "Up next". Weeks are labelled plainly rather than restarting the count inside each phase. A synced activity can no longer be counted four times. The keyboard no longer covers the box you are typing in, and the status bar no longer sits on top of the screen underneath it. Setting a race date now looks tappable, and the last race option is no longer cut off.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-05

ONE THING AT A TIME — The home screen now opens on today's session, and nothing competes with it. Race countdown, week progress and form move into a single line underneath, and you are asked one question at a time instead of five at once.

YOUR PLAN KEEPS UP WITH YOU — Fall behind and the plan realigns itself around today, so you come back to a week you can actually train rather than a fortnight of dead days. It tells you what it did, and you can undo it.

SAY WHEN A SESSION WAS TOO HARD — Finish a session, mark it rough, and the plan offers to ease the next few days on the spot instead of waiting a fortnight to notice.

A MORE CAREFUL SETUP — We would rather ask a few more questions and build a plan that actually fits your week. Setup now covers your weekly rhythm, strength work and benchmarks by default, each step says what it changes, and your experience level shapes the plan from the start.

FIXES — "Rebuild plan around today" used to look like it did nothing; it now says what changed and takes you to the new plan. Easing a week with no hard sessions in it says so honestly instead of claiming a change it did not make. The race-date field no longer shows two overlapping labels.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-05

LEAGUES — Start a points competition with friends. Log swims, rides, runs and gym sessions, and watch the leaderboard move through the week.

APPLE HEALTH, HANDS OFF — Workouts now sync automatically when you open the app, and a session already recorded elsewhere is matched rather than counted twice.

PROGRESS LOOKS FORWARD — The Form chart projects the arc all the way to race day, so you can see where the plan is taking you, not just where you have been.

ONBOARDING — Preview your plan and adjust it before creating an account. New to triathlon? There is a plain-language explainer for picking a race.

CLEARER PLAN — Training weeks are labelled simply "Week 1", "Week 2", and so on, instead of coaching jargon.

FIXES — The Profile tab could render blank in some cases; that is fixed. Signing out now properly ends your session. The day-one "missed sessions" warning is gone, swiping a session is easier to discover, and eased sessions say so.
