## What is TriMate?

TriMate makes group trip spending simple. Log every bill, split it fairly, keep an eye on the budget, and settle up at the end — all in one shared ledger your whole group can see.

BUILT FOR THE WHOLE TRIP
Most splitting apps handle one bill at a time. TriMate is organised around the trip: a budget, a daily pace, and a running ledger from the first day to the last transfer.

SPLIT IT ANY WAY THAT'S FAIR
• Equally between everyone
• By percentage (50/50, 60/40 …)
• By shares (one person counts double)
• Exact amounts per person
• Multiple payers on a single bill

LOG EXPENSES IN ANY CURRENCY
Pay in euros, rupiah, or yen and record it in that currency. TriMate keeps the trip's base currency and converts for balances, so nobody does napkin math at dinner.

KNOW EXACTLY WHO OWES WHOM
Balances update live, and settle-up suggests the fewest possible transfers — a group of five doesn't need ten payments.

WATCH THE BUDGET AS YOU GO
Set a trip budget and see spending by category, with a daily pace that shows whether you're on track before the money runs out.

GUESTS JOIN WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Share a 6-character code or a QR code. Friends add expenses right away — no sign-up wall. Log expenses offline and they sync when you're back online.

ALSO INCLUDED
• Recurring expenses for rent and subscriptions
• CSV export of any trip
• Payment handles (Venmo, PayPal, UPI, Alipay, WeChat) at settle-up
• Scan a receipt to fill in the details

FREE, GENUINELY
Unlimited expenses, no ads, no daily caps. The core of TriMate is free for the whole trip.

Fair splits, real budgets, and a clean settle-up — so everyone stays friends after the holiday.
