## What is Trimble Materials?

The field extension for your Trimble Materials procurement workflows.

Trimble Materials provides foremen and project managers with the mobile tools necessary to manage the material lifecycle directly from the jobsite. This app syncs in real-time with the Trimble Materials platform used by your procurement and office teams, ensuring data consistency across your entire supply chain.

By using the mobile app, field teams can replace manual communication with a structured digital workflow, providing the office with the immediate data required for accurate purchasing and inventory management.

Core Functionalities:

Material Requisitions: Browse project-specific catalogs and submit material requests directly to the purchasing department. Select items, quantities, and required dates.

Digital Receiving: Document the arrival of materials. Confirm quantities received, flag shortages or damages, and capture photos of packing slips.

Communication Log: Review notes and updates from the procurement team regarding specific orders or item substitutions.

Operational Requirements:

Requires an active Trimble Materials user account.
