Trinity is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, a church body which is comprised of 4.8 million members and almost 10,500 congregations. We are Christians who trace our roots to the reforming tradition of Martin Luther in the 16th century. This congregation dates back to 1904 when it was given the original name of the Scandinavian Evangelical Lutheran Free Church of Enumclaw. Services at that time were all held in the Norwegian language. The current building was dedicated in 1947. Whereas the original congregation was primarily limited to one ethnic expression, today Trinity is an inclusive community which strives for diversity.
