## What is Trip Comfort?

When a car ride, boat trip or other journey leaves you feeling unsettled, choose a simple comfort routine you can do yourself. Start a mode directly or answer three quick questions for a suggestion.

FOUR WAYS TO TAKE A PAUSE
- Breathe: follow a paced breathing rhythm through gentle haptics
- Pulse: focus your attention on a regular wrist-tapping pattern
- Tone: listen to a one-minute 100 Hz tone on iPhone through headphones at everyday volume
- Press: follow a wrist-point guide and a three-minute timer while you apply pressure with your own thumb or an existing band

TRY THE WHOLE TOOLKIT FREE
All four modes are free and unlimited. Free Pulse and Breathe sessions last two minutes; Tone and Press run their full length. No account or trial is needed to try them. Apple Watch puts Pulse and Breathe on your wrist; iPhone offers the routines without a watch.

The paid upgrade adds longer sessions, full history, custom rhythm and level, and Press reminders. Start free and decide whether you want more time or detail.

These are drug-free comfort techniques, not a medical device or a treatment for motion sickness. Wrist taps are not acupressure or electrical nerve stimulation. The app has no medical clearance, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, and may not change how you feel. If symptoms are severe, persistent, accompanied by other symptoms, or you cannot keep fluids down, seek medical advice. In pregnancy, inability to keep fluids down needs a midwife or doctor, not an app.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-08

Updated App Store information and subscription diagnostics.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-19

Queasy is rebuilt around four things instead of one.

- Pulse is still here: a steady tap on the inside of your wrist.
- Breathe paces a slow breath on your wrist, long in and longer out, so you can follow it with your eyes shut.
- Tone plays the 100 Hz minute from the 2025 Nagoya University study.
- Press shows you the spot an acupressure band sits on and times a three-minute hold.

Every mode is now free and unlimited, with no account and no gate on the way in. Free Pulse and Breathe sessions run two minutes; Tone and Press run their full length. Each mode shows what it leans on, in the source's own words, with a link.

Morning sickness is back as an occasion, with its own gentler settings, its own guidance, and a plain note about when to call your midwife or doctor instead.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-06

### 1.0 — 2026-07-30
