## What is Tripaint?

Most travel apps hand you a timetable and ask you to fill it in.

Tripaint doesn't.

You add a place and some dates. That's it. Inside, each day is one open page — no time slots, no fields, no rules. Write the way you already write:

12:20 meet at the station
lunch: the noodle place (10 min walk)
-〉 75 Jungang-ro 204beon-gil
〈get off at the back gate, it's faster〉
*they might have a queue

Tripaint reads what you wrote and quietly highlights it. It never asks you to write it differently.

A MAP THAT FILLS IN
Every region you visit gets painted. Countries worldwide, states and provinces in 65 countries, and districts in 49 countries covering 29,455 areas. Tap a region on the map and mark it in one go. Watch the percentage climb, and tap any region to see when you were there.

YOUR ROUTE, AS A VIDEO
One button turns your journey into a vertical video: the line draws itself across the map, the regions light up as you pass through them, and the distance counts up. Ready to share, no editing needed.

Already have years of history in Google Maps? Import your Timeline file and make a video of all of it at once.

PACKING AND SHOPPING LISTS
Write down what you must not forget before you leave, and what you want to bring back.

YOUR RECORDS STAY WITH YOU
There is no account. Your trips, notes and location history live on this device, and the app never uploads them anywhere. Location is recorded only while you turn it on, and you can stop it at any time.

Try every feature free for your first 7 days. After that, creating trips, writing notes and painting the map need a Premium subscription (monthly or yearly) or the lifetime pass. Everything you've already saved stays viewable without a subscription.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-10-25

What's new

- A quote for today when you open the app: one line from the classics, a new one each day. Tap to close it right away.
- Landscape and iPad support: the map spreads out to the side, and text stays at a comfortable reading width.
- Added usage statistics (Google Analytics) to help us improve the app. Your trips, notes and location are never sent, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings › Send app usage statistics.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-29

Banner ads are gone — Tripaint now runs on subscriptions.

- Every feature is free for the first 7 days. If you already use Tripaint, you get 7 free days from this update.
- After that, keep going with Premium (monthly or yearly) or the lifetime pass.
- Everything you've already saved stays viewable without a subscription.
- Check your status, restore purchases and manage your subscription in Settings › Subscription.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-20

Added a card that introduces other apps from the maker.

- It appears when you open the app; tap "Don't show today" to hide it for 24 hours.
- The cards in Settings now loop smoothly from last to first.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-17

The line you're typing no longer hides behind the keyboard in long notes.

- If you scroll while writing and keep typing, the line comes back above the keyboard.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-15

We updated our privacy policy.

- It now spells out what ads and install measurement send, and how device backups work. You'll see a one-time notice when you open the app.
- Restoring from a file now describes the result more accurately.
- "Delete everything" now also removes temporary files made for sharing (backup files and route videos).
- Fixed the screen jumping up and down with every keystroke while editing a long note, and a freeze when scrolling after editing a long note.
