## What is TripFlash?

TripFlash is the AI trip planner that builds a complete day-by-day itinerary in under a minute. No API key, no subscription, no setup — just type your destination, dates, and a few interests, and get back a swipeable flashcard for each day with weather, outfits, a full schedule, and a packing list built from every day combined.

Start planning in 30 seconds. Try it free as a guest — 3 full trips, no account needed.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Try it free — 3 trips as a guest, no account, no email.
2. Sign in with your email when you want to keep planning — a 6-digit code, no password to remember.
3. Pick a city from the autocomplete, choose your dates, list what you're into. Tap Generate.
4. Swipe through your trip. Edit any day. Share or export when you're ready.
WHAT YOU GET
• AI-built day-by-day itineraries with weather forecasts, outfit suggestions, hourly schedules, and a local tip per day
• Place autocomplete on city and base camp — picks real locations from Apple Maps so a typo can never derail your trip
• Smart packing list aggregated from every day, with tap-to-check items and progress per category
• Activity cards with Maps deep-links and transit-time estimates between stops
• Add real bookings (flights, hotels, restaurants) and the AI re-juggles your day around them
• Live Trip mode runs on the destination's wall clock so you always see local time, not your home time
• Drag-to-reorder days post-generation — dates, weekdays, and reminders all recalculate automatically
• Per-activity departure reminders with one-tap "Open Directions" to Apple Maps or Google Maps
• Voice planning — say one sentence ("3 days in Kyoto, staying at APA Hotel, temples and ramen") and TripFlash fills city, dates, hotel, and interests for you
• Export your trip as PDF or images, or share an encrypted .tripflash file with travel companions
NEW IN v2.0
• Cloud sync — every edit auto-saves to TripFlash Cloud. A lost phone doesn't mean a lost trip; sign in on a new install and tap Sync to pull everything back.
• Guest mode — try the app and create 3 full trips with no account, no email. Sign in when you want to keep them; the trips upload to your new account automatically.
• Place autocomplete with lat/lng capture — accurate destination matching and offline-friendly trip data.
• Sync conflict resolution — edited the same trip on two devices? TripFlash shows you both versions side-by-side and lets you pick which to keep.
FAIR USAGE
• 3 free trips as a guest with no account at all
• 10 trips per day · 25 per week · 50 per month after email sign-in — still free, no API key, no payment
• Each trip is one credit no matter how many days it spans. Reordering, editing, and re-saving locally are always free.
• If the AI fails or returns something unusable, your credit is automatically refunded — broken generations never count against you
YOUR DATA & PRIVACY
TripFlash is built around a simple promise: your trips and notes live on your device unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
• Tap Sync in the library to optionally mirror your trips to TripFlash Cloud (3-year retention, 30-day server-side version history for accidental-edit recovery)
• We never sell your data, run advertising trackers, or use it for anything beyond running the service
• Aggregated analytics drop your nickname, base-camp address, and any free-text notes before write; the rest is hashed with a monthly-rotated salt to defeat long-term re-identification
• Export everything we hold about you, or delete your account, from Settings → Account in two taps (GDPR Art. 15 / 17)
• Hosted on AWS US-East-1. Geo-restricted to non-GDPR regions until a full GDPR rewrite ships
SUPPORT
Questions, bug reports, feature requests: support@navakriya.app — or tap Settings → Help → Report a Problem inside the app. We read every report.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.8 — 2026-07-06

What's new in v2.0

Try before you sign in
• 3 free trips as a guest — no account, no email, no setup. Sign in when you're ready to keep them; your guest trips upload to your new account automatically.

Cloud sync
• Your trips can now optionally upload to TripFlash Cloud. Lost or replaced your phone? Sign in on a new install and tap Sync to pull every trip right back. Server-side version history keeps the last 30 days of edits so accidental changes are recoverable.

Place autocomplete
• Typing a city or hotel now suggests real locations from Apple Maps — so a typo can never derail your trip. Captures latitude/longitude for offline-friendly trip data.

Smarter sync conflicts
• Edited the same trip on two devices? TripFlash shows you both versions side-by-side and lets you pick which to keep — no silent overwrites.

Email-only sign-in
• Phone OTP retired. One 6-digit code to your inbox is all it takes — no password to remember, no SMS gateway.

Per-trip rate limits with auto-refund
• 10 trips per day · 25 per week · 50 per month — free, no API key, no payment. Each trip is one credit no matter how many days it spans; reordering, editing, and re-saving locally are always free. If the AI fails or returns something unusable, your credit is automatically refunded.

Live Trip mode + AM/PM-aware schedules
• Activities sort by real time-of-day across 12-hour formats. Live Trip mode runs on the destination's wall clock, not your home time — so a trip to Tokyo from NYC shows Tokyo time.

Two-tap data controls (GDPR Art. 15 / 17)
• Settings → Account → Export My Data downloads a JSON of everything we hold about you. Delete My Account permanently erases your record. Both are first-class buttons — no support email needed.
Plus: cross-day duplicate detection, sign-out cooldown to prevent rate-limit abuse, voice planning ("3 days in Kyoto, staying at APA Hotel"), drag-to-reorder days, encrypted .tripflash export for sharing with travel companions, and per-activity departure reminders with one-tap Open Directions.
Thanks for using TripFlash. Questions or feedback: support@navakriya.app — or use Settings → Help → Report a Problem inside the app.

TripFlash 2.0.1 — your trips, reliably everywhere. Cross-device sync fixes, smarter voice planning, stronger privacy.
Sync reliability
• Fixed: trips created on another device now appear correctly after Sync, even on a fresh install.
• Fixed: the same trip was sometimes pulled repeatedly. Sync now correctly says "Already up to date" once everything is in sync.
• Fixed: a few trips occasionally showed twice in the library after switching between devices. Duplicates are now collapsed automatically.

Voice planner
• Improved: voice commands now correctly populate every field — say "5 days in Bali, staying at downtown" and the city, base camp, and date range all fill in.

Trip generation
• More robust handling of AI responses — fewer "could not parse itinerary" errors during Generate.

About / branding
• Tap the Navakriya logo in the Library to open navakriya.app.

Privacy
• Anonymous device ID now uses Apple's identifierForVendor and is cached in the Keychain so it survives reinstall reliably. Makes the 3-trip free quota and cross-device cooldowns work as documented.

Added little navigation from summary to day.
Refined Spots screen
Added hints to Point of Interests
Made sure Packing list persists the statuses
