A great way to have everything organized in one place and the ability to share with each of the people on the trip was fantastic. We used it for our hotels our restaurants are airlines, hotels, and taxis. Love that it syncs with other travel apps that I use to augment what TripIt does for me. I would like to suggest some additional features: 1) a way to highlight when I’ve got a gap in my hotel stays for a trip. Just to ensure that I’m not leaving myself without a place to stay. 2) similarly, a way to highlight overlapping stays. Offline Sync Reliability: Offline access to full itinerary details and maps upon landing in international destinations without immediate cellular connectivity can sometimes be patchy. I worked with Support for literally nine months to get them to fix it so that I could see my past trips in the app. And now after three months, they broke it again, and I can only see trips from this year only. Very frustrating. It gradually got better and better and I loved it. I used it extensively. Now it’s going backwards. For example, last year I sent an email confirmation from a tour company and it was recorded OK. I have just sent another confirmation from the same tour company - and in exactly the same format - and it fails to record it. I tried numerous times to report this to their support and they tell me that the vendor must have changed the format, and that I need to enter each port manually, which is very time consuming. However, an unexpected benefit is when you have to provide a travel history for background checks.
