This app would get 5 stars if there was an option to save my favourite Friday Mixes for easier listening. I like to listening to these mixes while working out but hate having to scroll through them all everytime to find my favourite ones. ### 4/5 — Apple tvOS support *2025-01-25, version 5.4.4* Hi could we also make this app available on tvOS so we can play the app directly on Apple TV rather than using airplay? I don’t want to listen to unearthed! I have the same app installed on my phone and there is no problem. It is just the app on my iPad that is the issue. Please fix 🙏 ### 4/5 — Frequency Finder in Settings *2024-02-03, version 5.2.5* It’s not the most logical place to find it. ### 4/5 — Spotify linkage autogenerating playlists *2023-09-18, version 5.2.0* Whenever you add a song to your Spotify from the app, two empty playlists are autogenerated titled “My Hottest 100 2021 Shortlist” and “Found on the triple j app”. This is an immensely frustrating roadblock in what is otherwise a really great app. I can’t count the number of these playlists I have had to delete, as the app does not recognise that they already exist and will generate “Found on the triple j app (1)” if you try and add multiple songs from the triple j app at the same time, creating heaps of extra empty playlists in my library. Very annoying. ### 4/5 — Great app! Display glitch in radio tqb though *2023-07-31* Not a diss. just letting you know that everything glitches and goes unreadable inside the radio tab at the bottom, every time I try to scroll. Other radio apps are working fine, just this one. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Latest tracks is broken *2025-12-25, version 5.4.8* It refreshes every 5 seconds, preventing you from seeing anything but the previous couple of tracks before bumping you back to the top. Incredibly annoying, deleting the app and will have to use the website. ### 1/5 — Station jumping *2024-07-13, version 5.4.0* This has been going on for months now. I reached out and had emails with support. The response I got is that the fault couldn’t be replicated. And now I see another reviewer having the same issue. Issue: - Open the app and select any other station except JJJ (Hottest, Double J, whatever). - Either minimise app or open another app to overlay JJJ app. - It immediately jumps to playing JJJ station. From the correspondence with support it seems to be only on iPad Air (Mines 5th gen). My last email was 11th June. I even attached a video recording of it happening. Now I just over it. Fix your defective app or I’m done with it. Edit: Just opened the ABC listen app. Selected Double J. Then minimised. No problem. Tested it with multiple stations. Didn’t jump once. As of last update When I have a station open on app (Double j) when I open any other app the app jumps from double j to triple j Hottest or to triple j Have done a restart of iPad, but station jumping continues. Have to scroll to the bottom of the feed to make programs and favourites available and today, just to be quirky and keep me on my toes, my feed, programme and my favourites are exactly the same. Now in modern times it has become a university station for angry under grads who want to protest against things such as the unfair treatment of vegetables. Decided to download the app after getting home with groceries so I could continue the fabulous vibe Abby & Tyrone created for me in the car while I cooked dinner. OMG! I’m blown away, should have done this ages ago! Taking my time to cook an epic meal while I sip on a few bourbons and use this fantastic app. Have found a dozen or more songs to download into my car list for travel in the bush when I lose radio reception that I had forgotten the name of or forgotten all together.
