It's helping them, beyond a doubt, to learn what to do in an emergency situation. However, it would be more beneficial if there was and option to change the addresses and personal phone numbers they use within the app to our own personal addresses and phone numbers, so the children will learn these by heart too. ### 5/5 — Improvements *2014-08-16, version 1.2.1* Absolutely loving the game for my 4 year old. Within days of starting she could recite the number and is very excited that she is learning something useful. The only thing that I think could improve it is being able to put in personal information so that that is being repeatedly heard by the child to ensure when the worst happens they give correct address if at home. It's easy for them to use and teaches them how to deal with different scenarios as well. Only thing wrong is, it teaches the kids the wrong phone numbers and addresses etc. I would like to put their names, phone numbers and address into the scenarios. So that when they need to they are not scared to do it! ### 4/5 — Great resource but needs more *2014-03-27, version 1.1* As a parent wanting to teach my young child about emergencies and what to do in case of one, when I found this I was excited because it shows many scenarios but as it scripts phone call practice, I feel this is one area it failed big time. To have a recordable voice over function is paramount to helping children understand what they need to do, also it will help them to practice these skills and remembering their details. The voice is robotic , the details are sloppy and slow and inaccurate. The original was so much better . My older 4 children loved this app when they were young and my youngest is now the right age to play and this was so disappointing to open and find it ruined and too much happening in the app . ### 1/5 — Keeps crashing *2014-07-08, version 1.2.1* Has great potential but keeps crashing. So important for children to learn this process (calling triple zero, talking to an operator) as early as possible. It helps them learn how to identify emergencies, how to gauge the severity of an incident and what to do.
