So you cannot delete them. Not acceptable! **Developer response:** Hi Leon, we’re really sorry this gave you that impression. Just to clarify, if you decide not to subscribe, your photos are never uploaded anywhere and remain on your device. Photos that were taken in June are showing as December with no way to edit it, showing my stats as 189 days abroad. Also can’t add multiple locations to one trip so no good for backpackers **Developer response:** Hi, TripMemo uses the date saved with each photo, so screenshots or images saved later can sometimes appear under a different date. You can remove the photo and add it again to the correct day. Multi-destination TripBooks are also coming soon, so backpacking and longer trips will be much better supported. ### 2/5 — Not good *2026-06-10* The biggest thing I want to do is share my trip so multiple people can contribute but it forces me to look up a user name. When someone else downloads the app to create a user name it forces them to pay again (even though it says we shouldn’t need too) **Developer response:** Hi, I think this comes down to a mix-up between two different features. If you want people to see your trip, that's free. The "Generate Share Link" button on the invite screen creates a link anyone can open, no account or payment needed. Inviting by username is for editors, meaning people who add their own photos and journal notes to the trip. Editors each need a subscription because they're full contributors, the same way most collaborative apps charge per editor. The app doesn't promise free editing anywhere, but I get that the two options sitting on one screen can blur together, so we're making the wording clearer. In the meantime the free view link will do what you described wanting, and we're at support@tripmemo.app if you need support. Hopefully this explains the setup better than the app did, and if so, we’d really appreciate you giving the review another consideration. As a small team these reviews mean a lot to us. And we are genuinely trying to make TripMemo the best app it can be and updating with new improvements frequently. Me and my partner always use it when we go away now, it’s so fun collaborating on a trip book and captioning all our (silly) photos we always laugh when we see each other add stuff to each day. The app is so aesthetic and enjoyable I find myself opening it just to go around the app haha. I’ve always wanted a travel journal and TripMemo is definitely the best out there for that. I’ve easily added all my past trips and love seeing all my stats and stamps of where I’ve been. Thank you to the developers who have always been so helpful to me and always reply to my emails so quickly. They have been adding new features and improving the app so fast it’s amazing to see! We’re so grateful to have you here! ### 1/5 — Buggy/ No response *2026-05-28* I paid $50 for the app, and I found that several days of journal entries have simply disappeared. It does a poor job of keeping the notes you created within the original order you documented the original order. Additionally, when I reach out to the company via instagram, there is no response. There is potential for this to be a better app one day, but I would not recommend at this time. Not even if it was free! **Developer response:** Hi, I’m really sorry about this. Version 3.0.0 introduced some issues around note ordering and TripBook display that should not have made it through. Our team has been working on fixes and an update is being prepared as soon as possible. I’m also sorry you didn’t get a response on Instagram — that’s on us.
