(Fixed) *2026-05-13* Bug fixed. I’m raising my rating to four stars. I may raise it again when I will have tried the latest enhancements. Former comment was: I’ve been using Tripomatic as a premium member since 2016 (under its curent name and former names) and enjoyed it most of the time. Went through at least three migrations. Lost some data between the migrations, but this time is the worst. Eleven out of twenty-two trips won’t migrate, including two future trips that I created during the last few months. I’m a premium member which is now useless as since the update you can’t put together a trip without AI (which is another cost) whereas there were plans you could add before you build it yourself. It’s pointless now unless you pay got AI to build your trip so probably won’t use anymore. **Developer response:** Hello, thanks for getting in touch. It makes searching locations or “favorites” impossible and the street view is now too busy. It defeats the awesomeness of your app to have to also use Google Maps to figure out where I am at or alternate destinations in an area. If I search I can’t “locate” on the map now. ### 4/5 — Best so far *2026-02-16* Sygic Travel was the best app I've found so far to help me plan a trip. It helps organizing activities along the day. I like the feature that automatically estimates how long it will take to drive or walk from a place to the next selected activity. There are opportunity for improvements as you definetely need the help of other apps to conclude a full trip plan. It should offer connectivity to Google Maps, since it has a greater variety of locations and is updated. It is not a one stop shop but a great organizing tool. The name of the app was changed to Tripomatic. It’s interesting and wanted to use it for planning nice scenic drives but strangely it doesn’t give the option to open in Sygic which is their maps! Bitte um Korrektur ! ### 3/5 — Useful, but the descriptions are hard to read *2025-07-17* I have used this app on many trips but the description of the sights is in a thin font in light grey color on a white background, making it very difficult to read. The font color and size are not changed by the iOS accessibility setting so you can’t even change the font size, color or weight. I have reported this issue several times to the developer but they have decided to keep it as is. HUGE oversight and delay. 2) using the calendar for future trip planning is a joke... try to plan for next year.... scroll scroll... TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. Due to the above I avoid the app for any planning which is really sad. The developers must not be experienced travelers that plan for travel in advance in foreign countries. If they were, they would immediately fix it. start with when, then were.. forget about current location until the customer needs you to know it. Also, already paid to own it for $40. I use to be able to add a new place to sightsee to the phone app. But now it comes up with templates and I can't figure out how to get them gone and add my birding sights. I have to go to the web version to get my new place added. The new update ruined the user experience, making the app completely unusable. What a shame. But they have made too many changes after update and it’s so difficult to change and move things that I can no longer use it. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2026-05-05* I have the lifetime premium since years ago. I’ve always used the app to plan my trips. Since the changing to Tripomatic it became horrible. Used to love the nice itinerary pdfs with pictures, maps, info, now it’s a terrible blank page. Maps are not fluid and missing important spots. Miss the ready to import itineraries. And now you ask me to pay even more given that I have a lifetime license!! Tripomatic is great at planning but shockingly bad at the one thing you actually need on the road: getting the plan into a real navigation app. And to think I spent money on this hot garbage! ### 1/5 — Was so good until it was updated *2026-02-18, version 26.0.90* Used the app for years to plan my trips however since the latest update it’s literally android app copy and pasted with AI slop added. I can’t navigate the app anymore because of this and can’t see the plans because of AI and AI art taking up the screen as well as the Apple Watch app being removed which I used so much. Z. B. kann ein Reiseziel ohne weitere Eingabe an ein Routenprogramm übergeben werden, das ist sehr hilfreich. Ich möchte diese APP tatsächlich nicht mehr missen, sie ist wirklich eine große Unterstützung für die Reise. Die KI gibt sehr interessante Vorschläge und realisiert diese dann direkt in der APP. Man kann Reisen planen schon lang vor Abfahrt, Orte aussuchen, die nach Kategorien geordnet sind und verlinkt mit allen wichtigen Plattformen. Sehenswürdigkeiten werden kurz beschrieben mit Öffnungszeiten und Eintrittspreisen, es werden Erlebnisse oder Führungen per GetyourGuide verlinkt, Wettervorhersagen, benötigte Zeit berechnet bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten und für benötigte Fahrzeit. Man kann Übernachtungen suchen und wer die Navigationsapp hat sich auch gleich zu den ausgesuchten Orten navigieren lassen ohne nochmals etwas eingeben zu müssen.
