## What is TripPro Driver?

TripPro Driver connects professional drivers with the independent transportation fleets they work with.

BUILT FOR PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS
- Pre-assigned rides — no acceptance lottery, no surge-chasing
- Transparent earnings — your fleet sets your driver share
- Daily payout attempts via Stripe Connect
- 100% of tips, less Stripe processing fee
- Clear trip, rider, route, and payout details

FOR FLEET OWNERS WHO ALSO DRIVE
TripPro Driver is built for owner-operators. One app handles:

- Dispatching your team
- Booking on behalf of regulars who call you
- Per-driver earnings and separate fleet payouts

REQUIREMENTS
- iPhone running iOS 16 or later
- Phone number for SMS verification
- Vehicle information (year, make, model, plate)
- Photo for rider trust + identity confirmation
- Stripe Connect account for payouts (you'll create this in-app, takes ~3 minutes)

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-16

What's new in 1.5.2:

- Money that matches. A completed ride now goes through an explicit
settlement step before payment is captured, so a trip can't quietly settle
at an amount nobody confirmed. If a final fare needs a look, it waits for
  one instead of capturing silently.
- Projected trip totals include a required tip when the booking carries one,
so the number on the ride card matches what the rider is actually charged.
- Incoming ride cards name the service type that was actually booked, instead
  of a generic label.
- Dispatch billing shows Stripe disputes, so a contested charge shows up
where you manage the fleet's money — not only in your email.
- The late-night fee is now opt-in per fleet, the same way tax and wait
billing already were. Fleets that never wanted it no longer apply it.

The dispatch feed is a list, not a wall:

- A busy day now reads at a glance. Each booking is a compact two-line row
instead of a large card — roughly a third of the height — so a 30-booking
day is scannable instead of endless scrolling. Times and fares line up in
  real columns.
- Urgency stopped crying wolf. The feed used to flag any ride whose pickup
time had passed, so a trip already underway looked as alarming as one with
no driver at all. Lateness now counts only while nobody has picked the
  ride up.

Also in this update:
- Stability and diagnostics improvements, so crashes in this build get
  identified and fixed faster.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-11

What's new in 1.5.1:

- Get paid your way. Your free payout now goes out every Monday morning, and
any other day you can cash out what you've already earned for a flat $1.25.
Monday still sweeps whatever's left — free, automatically.
- Fleet owners can cash out the fleet balance early from Dispatch settings.
If you drive for your own fleet, one tap cashes out both your driving
earnings and your fleet balance, for one fee.
- Earnings show each early-payout fee as its own line item, so your bank
deposit always matches what the app says.
- Fares now reflect the trip that actually happened, priced at your fleet's
configured rate, with a clear breakdown of what was charged and why.
- Refunds show which ride they came from and what it pays out, and the fleet's
share of processing fees is handled correctly.
- Arrival times and driver assignment use live road routing, so ETAs match
  the road you actually drive.
- Fleet pricing flags when your driver cut deserves a review after you hire
  your first driver.

Also in this update:
- Fixed the app icon carrying a permanent notification badge with nothing
behind it — it now matches your Dispatch tab count, or stays clear.
- Dispatch inbox: your own replies no longer count themselves as unread.
- Fleet map: markers distinguish available, on-ride, recently offline, and
not-reporting drivers, and show when a position was last recorded.
- Ride search tells you when a filter is hiding results instead of implying
  there are none.
- Trip summary: fixed the trip-complete celebration closing the screen early.
- Security and stability improvements.
