I regret buying the full version. The trip planner is very cumbersome and I really don’t like using it. I think the idea was great but this wasn’t executed well. ### 3/5 — Could Be Expanded To Be Useful *2021-12-16, version 5.11* This is nicely packaged but not very useful in its current form as it doesn't include capacity to add transport. Really just a diary. It worked wonderfully two phones ago. No it is in desperate need of a good update. It is t set up to conform to all screen sizes. So my printing is over large and overwrites itself. So I have lines of writing on top of other lines of writing leaving an illegible mess. I also can’t scroll properly within the app. The last update was over a year ago. N’achetez pas. ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2019-01-24, version 5.11* Hi, I just started using the app and find it very frustrating as the instructions for copying and printing are on the webpage but no menu for them on the app. Also, I can find no link to login or save my work. I am considering deleting the app unless I can resolve this issue. ### 2/5 — Confusing and inconsistent *2018-08-30, version 5.11* Great app in many respects. But try to enter a simple plane flight and it is complex and requires multiple screens. Each ticket entry ends up different when you can’t see what you entered for the last one. Then, looking up the plane flights is a further multi-page juggle. This software has excellent capacity to attach and include a broad range of information. However, it needs to be rebuilt to support simple data entry functionality that can be quickly accessed at airports and travel agents. Most details entered are buried so deep in the software, its hard to remember where things are stored. The iPad version of the app has its trip icons spread across two separate pages (7 on one page and 6 on the next) when it could simply have a menu on one page. Then, every page has so many fields on each entry page, the whole lot gets messy and confusing and I keep forgetting where my entries are saved and have to hunt for them each time I reopen the app. Wonder whether the code writers have built a brilliant database functionality, but failed to design the app for user access who requires quick, accurate and consistent data entry and retrieval. I am unsure whether I would recommend this app or not, but currently minded not to. But truly hope improvements can be made so this app reaches its fullest potential to become the travel app of choice. ### 2/5 — Tap Tap Tap *2018-06-03* Can do the same thing using notes. Have to manually add everything. No link to your contacts to import travellers. No link to tripit or other travel app to import booked itineraries. No link to map apps - can only add a picture you take of a map. Should have tried the lite version before I bought this. I does have a place to hold everything and can export as a nice book. But I quickly tired of all the tapping. ### 4/5 — Great Travel App *2017-05-27, version 5.5* This is the App I have been looking for. Looking forward to using on my next trip will make it so much better keeping records. I am currently loading a previous trip and loving it. Would be good it you had a feature that recorded kms travelled giving you a running total. Plus I like to record daily temperatures not just sunny, rain etc. Add these feature and it would be perfect. Well that was my view for the orginal version. This new version, I do not like it at all. It is not user friendlt, i cannot find where the diary is, it wont let me put in an estimate for the trip only daily estimates. Bit disappointed the new version doesn't have the expense summary break down...... would be good if you could include it again. ### 4/5 — Need the older version of the app *2017-03-21* I loved the older version of the app that worked until 2015. Developer should not modify the appearance and layout of existing paid customer app, instead create a new version like Triprider 2 for purchase from App Store. I would never buy this latest version, look and feel is bad. Bring old version back and make it customizable by user. ### 2/5 — Not designed for planning *2017-01-04* I had high hopes that this app could be used for planning, but it is not really designed for that; but you cannot build your trip incrementally, there are way too many required fields. For example, planning a trip to another country, you may not know where ("the place") an event will occur, but the app requires "place" in order to save the entry. Basically, you have to know a lot about your trip before putting the details in the app, (it won't let you save and finish later). Also, does not enable you to enter flight duration. asks for the departure time, but cannot add the duration (or arrival time) which is pretty important if planning things like transportation or other events upon arrival. ### 4/5 — Good *2016-12-31, version 5.5* I have found application useful to plan itinerary, can save places of interest via PDF or photos, make notes etc. ### 4/5 — Essential Tool *2016-11-21, version 5.5* Having travelled around quite a bit I decided that what I could really do with away with was all the paperwork constantly needing my attention, everything from tickets, to dates, to addresses. I looked through many, but am glad I chose this one. I thoroughly recommend this app for any traveller, it certainly makes the finer details any traveller wishes they didn't have to worry about much simpler and easier. My only complaint/suggestion is the the 'must do' events should have a notification on them, or at least the option of making one to remind me of bookings or confirmations I have to do that day instead of my constantly looking up when I have to take care of them. -Overall, really handy. It is like I just loaded the new ap again. I contacted support several times but nothing. Disgusting for a paid ap to have no support, no back up. I have lost everything. ### 1/5 — This WAS a great App! *2017-07-27, version 5.9* Version 3.0 of this app was absolutely superb, once you got your head around it. Plus there where lots of YouTube vids to help walk you thru setting it up, which was certainly a massive help too. Now they completely change everything you've learned & give you some crappy FAQ's in the help section of their web page, WFT!! At least give us a User Manual PDF? If you, the app developer, can't be bothered anymore just take the app out the AppStore? Instead of probably work hard on something only YOU know how to use!!! Some proper instructions, NOT a flipping FAQ, would be nice. ### 1/5 — Just horrible!!!! *2016-05-23, version 5.3* Bloatware. Try to add a flight: you have to first pick the day of your trip, then enter information about the accommodation then scroll down to where you can enter activities for the day, then select airplane and then enter your information. You found everything so easily and it felt like a quality app -- not something generated by a 16 year old. Recently they "updated" it and it has a completely different look -- a basic one without the easy to use layout, with all these silly motion features just to get some basic info. The look has also regressed; no more hip and sophisticated layout and images; you now have something that seems to be the product of a 16 year old with an underdeveloped aesthetic sensibility. BRING THE OLD LAYOUT BACK! Would just love if I could sync across devices so I could pick up and keep writing on any of them. My children use the journalling and phhotos and love keeping these records. This app allows me to plan trips, jot notes, upload tickets, and save maps to prepare. Then while I’m on my trip I can keep a simple diary. I have everything from tickets, itinerary, maps, contacts and important docs all in one place. I can share the plans with travel partners and export my trip diary! I can even copy my packing list from the previous trip (be it the big pack or the overnight). This App captures all my precious memories. All my travel plans are easy to access as I go and I write a diary entry each night. When the trip is over I do a tripbook and I’ve got a permanent record.
