## What is TripScape?

Your photo library is a stamp book you have never opened.

TripScape reads only two things from your photos — where they were taken and when — and turns the places you have been into stamps. The images themselves are never loaded. Nothing is ever transmitted.

■ Landmarks become stamps, towns become postmarks
407 landmarks across Japan, each with its own diorama-style stamp. All 1,739 municipalities, each with a round engraved postmark. The more you travel, the fuller your book.

■ Go twice, and the postmarks stack
One postmark per place per day. Come back another day and the marks layer over each other, so the places you return to run deepest.

■ A map of Japan that fills in
Every municipality you have visited is filled in, with coverage shown per prefecture. Tap a landmark or a town to jump straight to its stamp.

■ Turn a memory into a postcard
Pick one photo from that day and share it as a postcard, complete with its stamp and a postmark dated to the day you took it.

■ Home stays out of it
The town where you photograph on the most days is treated as home, and stops issuing postmarks — so your shelf stays a record of travel, not of Tuesdays.

■ Everything stays on your iPhone
The map data used for matching ships inside the app. No network requests. No account. Not one photo leaves your device.

■ Collecting is always free
Collecting stamps and postmarks stays free forever. The one-time albums are simply the shelves that hold and display them, by region. Pick one region free to start. No subscription.
