### 2/5 — Cumbersome

*2026-05-12, version 125*

Too many clicks to generate a boarding pass. Even once it’s generated, another click needed to display it! Like, why I am I generating a boarding pass, of course I need to display it, just make that automatic. It’s very inconvenient when trying to get on the bus to go through so many clicks. And more than once the driver left, because that thought I was just a random pedestrian staring at my phone.
Also, favorites is not useful the way it works. I’d like to favorite a route withthe live screen that shows the buses in that route. Showing the list of 20 options (the first of which is, incredibly, walk instead of taking the bus) is not useful.

### 2/5 — You may want to try your best to avoid this app and service

*2026-05-11, version 125*

I had an extremely frustrating experience using TripShot for the WeDriveU shuttle from Harvard Square to Watertown Mews.

I arrived at the designated pickup spot at 3:43 PM — about 15 minutes early — and waited until 4:00 PM, but the shuttle never showed up. Despite this, the app marked the shuttle as having already arrived and departed. I know I was standing in the correct location because I stayed there and was successfully picked up later by the next shuttle driver.

When I called customer support, the supervisor insisted their records and bus camera footage showed the driver had arrived and stopped. However, when I asked whether the footage showed me waiting there, I was told the camera only captures the front of the bus, not the side pickup area. That raises an obvious question: if they can’t verify whether passengers were actually boarded, how can they confidently dismiss rider complaints?

While waiting, I realized the pickup location was at an active bus stop, so it’s entirely possible the driver temporarily moved to avoid blocking another bus without any communication to riders. If that’s the case, there was:
- No clear or reliable pickup coordination
- No rider communication plan
- No meaningful troubleshooting support
- No app safeguard to ensure passengers are actually picked up

Instead, I was left stranded for 45 minutes despite arriving early and following instructions, only to be told the system showed everything was fine.

This experience exposed serious flaws in TripShot’s reliability, rider communication, and accountability. If these issues aren’t addressed, other passengers will likely face the same avoidable problem.

### 3/5 — On demand woes

*2026-04-07, version 125*

The app needs better calculations. It doesnt consider or show existing queues or display delays in a helpful manner for on demand rides

### 2/5 — No help

*2026-03-02, version 124*

I use this app on a daily bases for my work transportation. i’m not sure if it’s on the app side or my work company but the routes haven’t been updated since 2023. Lately, the shuttles get canceled or don’t show up at all with no explanation.

### 2/5 — My employer makes me use

*2026-02-12, version 124*

App is glitchy. Try to report a problem and no response from support. I wouldn’t use if I wasn’t forced by my employer.

### 2/5 — Bluetooth cannot be connected iPhone 17

*2025-10-27, version 122*

I recently switched to an iPhone 17, and since then I’ve been unable to detect the shuttle’s Bluetooth on the Boarding page in the Tripshot app. Because of this, I have to ask the driver to manually complete the boarding process for me every day.

This issue doesn’t seem to be unique to me — many Amazon employees have reported experiencing the same problem after upgrading to newer iPhone models.

Could you please look into this issue or let us know if there’s a known compatibility fix or upcoming update? It’s been causing daily inconvenience for multiple users.

### 1/5 — Tripshpt not free anymore.

*2025-10-11, version 120*

The TripShput used to be free now they are asking for a debit card crazy.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work on ios 26

*2025-10-10, version 120*

The app does not work in iPhone 17 pro and ios 26 to board using Bluetooth, it's been a while since the new iPhone and ios was released and there is no fix yet.

### 1/5 — - Boarding stopped working

*2025-10-07, version 120*

After upgrading to iPhone17 the ride boarding stopped working. The message is saying the boarding is using bluetooth but the app settings do not even list bluetooth controls. Please address the issue.

### 1/5 — Not working for iPhone 17 pro

*2025-09-30, version 120*

Not working for iPhone 17 pro

### 1/5 — Ios 26

*2025-09-25, version 120*

Not working iphone 17 pro, does not show nearby vehicles anymore

### 1/5 — App stopped working after iOS 26 with iPhone 17

*2025-09-25, version 120*

Not able to see nearby vehicles anymore with iPhone 17 on iOS 26, tried reinstalling still same issue.

### 4/5 — Good but lacking

*2025-09-24, version 120*

This is good, but is lacking a way to add multiple shuttle providers to one account. It currently only allows you to have one shuttle system on the app at a time. If they allowed multiple providers at once, then it gets 5 stars

### 1/5 — Bluetooth not working on latest iOS

*2025-09-23, version 120*

App no longer finds nearby boarding buses. I think this has to do with the fact that the app doesn’t request Bluetooth permissions (at least it doesn’t show up under the app privacy settings). This used to work before I replaced my phone

### 1/5 — Shows the wrong route for CMU Escorts

*2025-08-27, version 120*

The escort does not follow the route on the map at all. The trip was showed 9 minutes on the app, and the real route ended up being 40+ minutes long

### 2/5 — Should have bus info

*2025-07-15, version 119*

It would be nice if this app could be updated to where the my ride to work buses can update letting passengers know when buses will be late or not showing up or on time or whatever. If only snows routes.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrendous routing

*2026-05-13, version 125*

Microsoft please stop using Tripshot. What a horrendous route that tripshot generates! Cab will pick me up from my home that’s a mile away in MTV, from the MTV office, take me 4 miles to Sunnyvale, bring me back the same route back to the intersection where I live and then to the office. So a rider boards the cab, is driven away from work by 4 miles opposite direction? While the route could have been such that cab picks me while returning from Sunnyvale, rather than tug me along from the city where I and my workplace is to another city and back. Been reporting this for 2 years and always surprised at this routing algorithm that’s just non-sensical. We fear AI will take our jobs but these archaic algorithms could really use AI help or apps that have more logical routing algorithms will replace such apps sooner or later. This, after all these years of giving this detailed a feedback! I don’t think anyone even looks at this feedback, let me may be review on the app store!

### 1/5 — Bad UI

### 1/5 — Broken on iPhone 17

*2025-11-06, version 122*

Boarding is broken on iPhone 17 Pro and there’s no way to otherwise board without talking to the driver.

### 1/5 — Vehicle detection does not work

*2025-10-20, version 122*

The app is still broken after the most recent update. Please fix nearby vehicle detection for iPhone 17 running iOS 26.

### 1/5 — iPhone 17 Pro Max IOS 26

*2025-10-14, version 121*

App still does not locate bus through Bluetooth after the recent IOS 26 app update

### 1/5 — Terrible design

*2025-10-13, version 121*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-06-24, version 126.1*

The drivers are amazing. The app is absolute chaos with no reasoning or logic, but it’s what we have and we live with it.

### 5/5 — Great experience

### 5/5 — Not perfect but will do

*2025-01-22, version 116*

### 5/5 — Good app for trip scheduling

*2024-11-08, version 116*

I use this app to book rides with a shuttle through my work. It works well for that purpose. It was not completely intuitive, but I was able to figure out how to book rides through it without issues. It’s nice that you can see the real time position of shuttle in the map.

### 5/5 — Super fast

*2024-05-15, version 110.1*

Fast

### 5/5 — Better than Uber or Lyft if you need a quick and inexpensive ride in Santa Clarita

*2022-08-23, version 87*

The driver greeted me by my first name, which was surprising and very nice. Great ride home. Couldn’t get faster using Lyft or Uber and 10x cheaper! Totally recommend!!😊😊😊

### 5/5 — Convenient for shuttle info

*2020-10-13*

I really enjoy tripshot- we use it for our company shuttles, and it’s so helpful to have this information at my fingertips to see where shuttles are- when they will be arriving, various stops, etc. I live within distance of a few of our different routes, so it’s especially handy for switching between timetables if I miss the shuttle I was intending to take. I like the UI and the different route/departure information the best!

### 5/5 — Fresh new look!

*2020-06-26, version 63*

Great new look, and reservations feature to help us stay socially distant from fellow riders is great!
