## What is TripSplitter?

TripSplitter keeps track of who paid for what, so you don't have to.

Create a group for a trip, a share house, or a night out. Add expenses as they happen. TripSplitter works out who owes whom and keeps a running balance for everyone.

Split it however it actually happened
Equally, by percentage, or by exact amounts. Choose who was in on each expense — not everyone shares every taxi.

Snap the receipt
Photograph a receipt and TripSplitter reads the merchant, the total and the date. Receipts are read entirely on your device and never uploaded.

See where you stand
One number across all your groups, and a per-group breakdown. Balances are simplified, so three people settling up doesn't turn into six payments.

A nudge, not a nag
Send a gentle reminder when someone owes you. It appears in their activity feed — no notifications, no pestering.

Keep the history
Every expense and settlement stays on record, so "didn't I already pay you back for that?" has an answer.
