If you've ever gone to a restaurant or bar following a 5-star review and been disappointed, or if you have ever walked into what should have been a dive bar and had the time of your life, TripSpot is for you.

The issue with online reviews is that everyone's perception of 5-star service is different. This is why we still hold recommendations from our friends so highly.  TripSpot aims to capture the "you're going on holiday there? Then you must visit this place!" recommendations from friends by allowing you to leave reviews for only your friends to find whenever they open the app in a location someone else has visited.
