Hate than the share trip goes 404 I use it a lot. Update: I jumped to the modernized “next there” app by the same dev. Much better. Sharing links works ! Thanks devs for leaving Triptastic on the App Store legacy customer support is just as important as acqisition. I suggest you fix the 404 and the broken zendesk link. Would be ok to link to the new “next there” app with a discount code. ### 3/5 — Triptastic Sydney bus not showing real time *2021-05-10, version 2.1.0* Currently (5/2021) the app is not showing Sydney buses in real time. ### 3/5 — UX issues limit it greatly *2019-04-01* The life bus tracking is great. However there are several issues in usability I can no longer put up with. Eg showing 20 of the same trip in a list or constantly resizing the map view. ### 3/5 — App keeps crashing *2018-04-23* Great app overall but it has only started constantly crashing. I’ve paid for it and have nothing now... It does not allow to advance plan for a set departure time or arrival time. ### 3/5 — Mostly good, sometimes terrible *2015-04-27* I am not sure whether to blame the app, or the information they are receiving from NSW Transport. But my experience with the app mood swings from very accurate to completely terrible. Countless times I've had the app tell me a bus is arriving in x minutes, only for the bus to never come, and the app tell me that it's already departed. It's great for a general idea of the bus times, not so much for accurate travel plans ### 4/5 — Not bad. *2015-03-13* Still in need of refinement though. Lots to love but some bugs yet to iron out. Good effort though, but when spending almost four bucks on an app I reckon that it may be a little more serious, but I do understand that these things take time. ### 2/5 — Basic for the price - buy TripGo instead *2014-09-27, version 2.0.7* Far too basic for the price. Can't even enter departure date and time. Have to scroll through days of services to get there. Would suggest TripGo instead. Can't enter a 'depart by' or 'arrive by' time for trips. Buggy. Update: Persevered, but after missing a train due to incorrect data I'm deleting triptastic. CityTrain staffer recommended TripView to me. ### 2/5 — Was brilliant... Then went buggy *2014-08-30, version 2.0.7* It worked really well, I'd have given it a 10/10. Then it started to get really buggy, if I ever looked up bus times it would tell me about busses in the next 20 hours or ones that had departed yesterday, but not the next due ones. ### 2/5 — Terrible *2014-08-11, version 2.0.6* A nice app in theory, but constantly crashes, sometimes stops displaying stops and just gives you a bare map. ### 1/5 — Refund Please *2014-07-03, version 2.0.5* You can't save trips, the settings don't stick and the map can't be scrolled because it constantly wants to update the vehicles you told it not to show. Regards ( iPhone 7 ) An also route 32 is stopped working Sed sali ### 1/5 — Rubbish for Surry Hills buses *2018-05-21, version 2.0.14* All of the buses I need to track (that pass through the Surry Hills area) don’t show up in the live tracking...which is the only reason why I purchased this app. If I wanted scheduled information I wouldn’t have paid for this app 🙁 probably won’t recommend this to others. ### 1/5 — Downloading issues *2017-12-05, version 2.0.14* Now Map continually downloads every time I open the App. Was a a great app that I’d recommended to my extended family as getting to where we live was much easier when able to coordinate on triptastic. Now churning up 150mb of data per day makes it pretty useless and developers haven’t been able to replicate. ### 1/5 — Timetables for Australia not updated *2017-08-21, version 2.0.14* Multiple services are incorrect or missing times. Used to be great, has nose dived. ### 1/5 — Dev email address no longer works *2016-12-31, version 2.0.14* Devs have disappeared.. App is next to useless now - the data is so inaccurate a normal paper based timetable is better than this piece of rubbish... ### 1/5 — No Vehicles *2016-12-12, version 2.0.14* After the update, no more vehicles appear on the map. And it's not real time anymore it's just "scheduled". Fix this or give my money back ### 1/5 — Does not link buses and trains! *2015-10-13, version 2.0.11* What a waste of money! Can't search for a trip that combines a bus and train! Instead I'm given the best option of bus and bus, which will take over 2 hours!!! The bus / train trip actually takes 1hr 27mins.
