## What is Tripto?

Tripto turns everyone's scattered bookings into one shared itinerary the whole group can see — even the people who never install the app.

• A day-by-day timeline that shows each flight, stay, and plan in its own local time, so a late-night arrival is never misread.
• Boarding-pass detail cards with confirmation codes, one tap to add to Calendar or get directions.
• Invite family with a link — companions can add plans, viewers just watch, and grandparents can open a read-only web link with no app and no account.
• A shared packing list you can assign to each person, and a "Just mine" filter so everyone sees what they need.
• Works offline — read the whole trip and make edits on the plane; they sync when you land.

No ads. No tracking. Your trip is shared only with the people you invite.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-08-11

Forward a booking email — get a trip.

• A forwarded booking that doesn't fit any of your trips now creates the trip for you: dates and title from the booking, everything waiting as suggestions. Keep it or discard it with one tap.
• New: Import history in Settings shows what happened to every email you forward — in plain words, including the ones we couldn't read.
• Notifications: get told the moment a forwarded booking is ready to review. Tripto asks once, at the right moment.
• Bookings land in the trip whose dates fit; cancellation emails are labeled and never create trips.
• Plus accessibility improvements throughout, steadier time-zone handling, and many small fixes.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-09

Start planning before the dates are set, see your day on a map, and forward booking emails to one address that's easy to remember.

• Draft trips — begin a trip with no dates yet ("Japan, sometime next spring") and add them when plans firm up
• Day on a map — see a day's stops as numbered pins, in order, with anything unmapped listed below
• A map on every booking, right above Get directions
• One email address for your whole account — forward confirmations from Settings → Email import, instead of a different address for every trip
• Home leads with what's next again, with a card for the trip you just got back from and your past trips one tap away
• Friends trips get their own start, alongside family ones

Fixes
• Tapping a booking card opens it, every time
• Turning off a trip's public link now revokes every live link, including ones made on another device
• Changes made offline that couldn't be saved to the server are kept instead of quietly disappearing
• VoiceOver reads trip rows once, as buttons, and no longer wanders into hidden tabs

### 1.3 — 2026-08-04

Point your camera at a boarding pass or hotel confirmation — or just screenshot one — and your matching trip or booking shows up right there, ready to open. It's built into iOS 26's Visual Intelligence, runs entirely on your phone, and needs an iPhone with Apple Intelligence.

Shared trip links now look like something. Send a trip to family in Messages or WhatsApp and it unfurls with a real preview card instead of a bare grey link.

You can now mark a booking cancelled. It stays in your itinerary, struck through, but stops showing up in what's next, your countdowns, widgets, and calendar exports — and you can undo it any time.

Also in this release: snap a photo straight into a booking's attachments with the camera, set a home time zone so times at a glance make sense, and a fix for a bug where opening a trip from a widget, Spotlight, or Siri could drop you on the home screen instead of the trip. Live Activities also no longer count down to a flight that's been cancelled or deleted.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-22

Turn that hotel screenshot or boarding pass PDF straight into a shared itinerary item — no typing. Tripto 1.2 adds scan-to-add: select a photo or PDF, Tripto reads it on your phone, and out pops a structured booking you can refine and share with your group.

Then attach the actual ticket to the item. Keep hotel vouchers, baggage stickers, museum PDFs, and confirmation codes right where you need them — with the booking itself, not buried in Mail or Files. All files sync to companions and viewers; only you or the organizer can remove them.

Viewers can now suggest plans (a flight, a dinner, a museum day) without editing the main itinerary. Your ideas go straight to the organizer's review queue — they confirm or dismiss, you see the status.

New Siri actions on every iPhone: say "Add sunscreen to my packing list" and it's there — same permissions as the app, works offline. Ask for a booking's confirmation code and Siri answers only after your phone is unlocked; the code never appears in search or suggestions.

On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, trip summaries and packing suggestions happen entirely on-device — no cloud, no sign-off dialogs. A tap generates a plain-language rundown of your plans or proposes practical packing items; you always review before anything is added.

Throughout: your booking data stays on your phone unless you choose otherwise. Screenshots and PDFs are always read on-device first; only if you pick cloud processing is the extracted text (never the image) sent — and we tell you exactly where it goes before the first send.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-21

• Photo trip covers — pick from your library or search beautiful travel photos
• Trip import & export — move your trips in, back them up out
• Cleaner trip screens: photo heroes, refreshed profile settings, your photo on Home
• Reliability: smoother syncing and fixes for stay-overlap warnings
