## What is TripUs?

Plan your next group trip through conversation. TripUs is your AI travel companion — tell it where you want to go, and it builds a complete itinerary with real places, routes, and timing.

PLAN TOGETHER
Invite friends to your trip. Chat in groups, share ideas, and use built-in decision tools when the group can't agree. See all your trips on an interactive world map.

AI THAT GETS YOU
The AI learns your travel style over time — food preferences, pace, budget, interests. Every suggestion gets smarter. Powered by Google Gemini.

DISCOVER NEARBY
Find restaurants, cafes, museums, parks, and attractions around you. Filter by category, distance, and whether you're walking or driving.

FOLLOW THE LEADER
Start a live trip and everyone follows the leader in real-time on the map. Turn-by-turn navigation built in. Share a web link so anyone can follow along — even without the app.

FREE TO START
Create trips, chat with AI, discover places, and go live — all free. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited access.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.2 — 2026-10-05

Faster sign-up: just confirm age and terms - your name and photo come from your Google or Apple account, and you can change your username anytime in Profile.

Live trips are more reliable: no more double starts, and if a live trip ended on its own you can restart it with one tap from the notification.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-04

TripUs AI is now TripUs — new name, new look.

• Trip Story: turn your trip photos into a video and a private trip website with a map, a day-by-day route and everyone's stories. Works after a TripUs trip or from any photos on your phone.
• Trip members can add their own photos; faces are grouped on your phone so you can tag people.
• Keep your Trip Story website for good with a one-time purchase.
• Fixes and improvements.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-16

• Tour guides: choose Guide Basic or Guide Pro — Pro now costs less
• 6 months free for every newly qualified guide; see your plan and days left on your dashboard
• "My plan" in Profile to manage your subscription
• Fixes and cleanup

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-14

• Tip your guide: at the end of a guided trip, tap the heart and go straight to your guide's own payment page — 100% goes to the guide
• Guides: add your tip link under Earnings and see how often travelers tap it
• Fixes and cleanup

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-06

• Tap a group-message notification and land straight in that chat
• New messages always show in your notification list
• Trip photos are now private, with expiring links
• Live-trip times shown in your destination's timezone
• Smoother Google sign-in on iPhone
• Fixes and cleanup
