However when I go to cancel on trivago they will not refund the cancellation at all. So the hotel will be notified of the cancellation and reimburse but trivago keeps all the money??? Biggest scam out there. The trip was also going to be rebooked using trivago as we were cancelling due to the weather. Would have been a returning customer as the booking process was easy.
