They seem to think sport questions are very easy, which is funny. It has a nice variety of questions, and they change them reasonably often. I wonder why they took out the national statistics. This happened to me three years ago when I had the app on my iPad. I get through 3 lessons, and then the app crashes on the 4th. Disgraceful. ### 1/5 — Interesting Trivia; Unrewarding Experience *2013-02-07, version 2.7* The trivia is interesting, but upon finishing each set of ten questions all you get is a lame response no matter how good or bad your performance was; sometimes it's not even accurate as in "5 out of 5 ain't Bad!" when the score says that only 4 were correct. The most annoying is: "you're ready to know the ultimate answer--42". Which is just nonsense. Or "that's all and thanks for the fish" when you get 8 correct and your highest score ever. they refer to Native Americans as "Indians". They incorrectly used the word "their" when it should have been "they're"! Like I said, it's unrewarding, but I still play it. Not worth $5 though. I have at least three examples a took a screen shot of that show misuse/misspelled words ### 1/5 — Disappointing! What is everyone thinking? *2012-01-24, version 2.4* Before buying i read all the great reviews and impressed with all the comments for this app but once I decided to buy it, I really wish I would of keep searching for other trivia games. I do not recommend because the graphics are mediocre and the questions only Harvard scholars and librarian monks would know the answers. Just uninteresting, useless knowledge. I would have much more fun opening a dictionary than playing with this app. Sorry knowledge trainer but it was a waste of my money! ### 1/5 — Doesn't even give me time to read the *2011-12-22, version 2.4* This app is basically guessing game it has no educational value so don't bother downloading it! Just a bunch of useless crap no one gives a shot about in hard to understand language! Worth $.99 not 4.99 ### 1/5 — Potentially great *2011-09-07, version 1.11* I really enjoy this app, and it will be 5 stars, once a few issues are ironed out. 1) Occasional incorrect answers. As others have mentioned, some answers are flat-out wrong while others are misleading. Ex: "What is the largest lake in the world?" Both Lake Baikal and Superior are choices, and both are right given the wording of the question. Still, Superior is the one they want. Annoying to no end. 2) The comments between questions and after games are reaaaaalllly annoying. 3) Seemingly arbitrary assignment of difficulty outside of the easiest rank. Some of the 2nd rank questions are harder than the 5th ranked questions. Many of the 5th rank questions seem as easy as the 1st rank. 4) Non-timed mode is needed! The timer is fun, but sometimes I'd like to play with friends or have a laid back game. For $5, this should be an option. These limitations aside, this is still the best trivia app on the store, and I can't wait to change this to a 5-star review! ### 1/5 — US bias *2010-12-18, version 1.0* Despite the blurb for this app stating that it will ask you questions based on your location, whether in the US or UK, the majority are asked from an American perspective or are about America laws, culture etc. The blurb is clearly a lie and the app will be of little interest to people outside of the States. I love that it tallies your strengths and weaknesses. I also enjoy the new feature of giving explanations for the answers. And the questions themselves are a breath of fresh air in that they often explore topics that aren’t underrepresented in most trivia games.
