I'm Loving it. This is so "Zen" it put my hubby in a coma with the music. And the Puzzle challenges are Multi levels on 58 pages to mesmerize the mind! Total of 522 puzzles to pick thru. Some of the smaller puzzles are very tricky, which I like. Some of the larger puzzles feel a bit too unconstrained. There seems to be no progression of easy to difficult. Nice geometric puzzle shapes, but they require the use of smaller pieces. It would be nice to see some puzzle pages that were limited to pentiamond pieces or hexiamond pieces instead of a mix of polyiamonds. Also, it would be nice to have some puzzles that use the complete set of 12 hexiamonds. These are not complaints, but enthusiastic requests. Very happy with the game and recommend it. Where other games offer intensity, TriZen offers serenity. The muted colors of the puzzle pieces; the placid music; the unhurried pace; the utter simplicity of the game (which can nonetheless be challenging at times). It's well done and well worth the purchase. ### 5/5 — Amazing, Addictive game! *2011-08-26, version 1.2* Love, love this game. Recently added the newest addition of puzzles but this one has to be my all time favorite. With Trizen it is easy for me since I can't really pin point where puzzles pieces fit. The first game is more for imaginative or creative minds that can see the puzzle both ways. Trizen is a bit easier thank you for these awesome games. But pieces don’t respond to taps as they are supposed to. A lot of fake reviews here. ### 2/5 — Could be awesome but... *2011-11-19, version 1.4* Find the "tapping" to rotate the pieces is just too difficult. Sometimes they rotate but most times not. Wish they had the rotating technique like the TanZen puzzle which works well. The flipping on this game is easy but not the rotating. That's my my complaint, love everything else about it but due to the difficulty in trying to get the pieces to rotate & placed where I want...makes it very frustrating & not peaceful. If the programmers could change that feature...it would be AWESOME! ### 3/5 — Trizen *2012-01-04, version 1.6* Got the free Tanzen first which I really liked and got good at. Then decided to pay for Trizen for more of a challenge. The puzzle IS challenging however I have found it time consuming and annoying having to rotate the shapes by tapping. Tanzen was much easier. It uses a circle around the shape you can move by rotating the circle. Why would the designers make the shapes harder to move for a game I paid for? Again-comparing to Tanzen. I miss the little symbol that appeared in the corner indicating you have overlapping shapes. All in all this puzzle game is challenging but not as user friendly as the free Tanzen. Try Tanzen first. ### 3/5 — crashes *2011-07-19, version 1.1* I love this game, it is a really simple and relaxing game but it gets frustrating when I've done a few puzzles and can no longer use it because it crashes every time I go to the puzzle screen and the only way to fix it is to reset ALL of the puzzles. it would be really nice if this were fixed. ### 4/5 — TriZen *2017-09-13, version 2.3* Good game ### 4/5 — Great game, but Zentomino still rules. 👍 *2012-10-10, version 2.0* This game is excellent; however, I wish all pieces were available for each stage, as it is in Zentomino. It would make for more consistent gameplay. Instead I find myself thinking I have a piece, when in fact that piece is not available on the current stage I'm working on. This also means that there is usually only one way to complete a puzzle. Sometimes I like to redo puzzles and complete them differently (like in Zentomino), unfortunately this is not possible since they give you a fixed amount of pieces per stage. That all said, I would still recommend this game to anyone interested in puzzle-type games. This is a fantastic game to play when needing to kill some time (eg; waiting in line). 👌 ### 4/5 — Well crafted and challenging *2012-08-05, version 1.9* Currently priced less than two bucks, this program is an excellent bargain. It's very engaging and the puzzles are fun to complete. The user interface is perfect. As a contemplative puzzle, it is a FIVE STAR program. I'd suggest that an OPTIONAL element of suspense would make it more addictive for some personality types. The only problem is when I try to retrieve the blocks from the left side of my screen, the notification tab on my iPhone is released making it so I can't bring the blocks over. Half the fun is choosing different ways to solve a puzzle. If they give you 6 pieces...you must use those 6. It's nice that if you are having a problem solving it gives you hints and if you are still having problems if you leave the puzzle and then go back to it it will give you more hints. It is a perfect way to break away from involved projects to calm down and meditate on a puzzle solution.
