For example, you can’t enter custom inputs for something like lake trout where you might use a mega jig weighing an ounce or more, combined with a 4 or 8 oz trolling weight (fishing from a kayak, not using downriggers. This configuration using a 4 oz weight and 100 feet back results in a 40 foot depth.) When you hit ‘calculate’, it says ‘No results found; enter a diver or trolling weight’, even though you have already entered the trolling weight. Could be just a minor bug that needs to be worked out. Seems to work quite nicely if you enter a diver or pre-set lure. Wouldn’t have paid the $50 if I would have known this, however. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. If you have selected a jig as the lure, please make sure that you enter the lure weight. I suspect this is the issue that you are finding. I have trolled this lure fo many years an find that it consistently runs deeper than Rapala Sr5. With 60 feet of line back this lure will tick bottom at 12 feet. Buy the lifetime version! *2020-07-31* This app is very useful and easy to use! It far out weighs any other apps for this on the market. Plus it has way more options as the other apps and options like it are very limited! This is the only one APP you need! However keep in mind The app would not allow me to buy lifetime subscription at first! You must click purchase through the upgrade button at bottom of app after opening instead of through the settings app and subscriptions. As going into subscriptions it will only give you monthly and annual options! It does not work. I tried a variety of realistic data and the app is not able to provide a solution (line length). I purchased the lifetime subscription on an android phone switched to apple contacted support and received a code to transfer membership, big props to them. Many options from line type speed lure even divers. I bought the lifetime edition a while ago. Unfortunately, that was on my android and the purchase wouldn’t transfer to my iPhone. I wrote a quick little email to the developers and they quickly gave me a gift card code to redeem my lifetime membership on my iPhone. This great app has all the lures i utilize and depth calculations to get me down to the fish. The app owner is very helpful and will answer any question you have. He is continually updating the database to include more lures. You can’t go wrong with this on the water.
