It's an absolute cancer on mobile games. Why am I forced to take breaks from playing? Why can't I just play as much as I want whenever I want? I'll tell you why, money. The sole purpose is to get you to buy in app purchases. It's the most asinine decision ever. Last I checked, PvZ doesn't even do this. It's such a shame because the game itself could have been better than PvZ but this one detail makes it infinitely worse. ### 1/5 — Forced tutorial upon game opening *2023-11-21, version 1.6.2* Every time you open the game it forces you to go through the tutorial before you can log into your saved cloud account, please can you put a skip tutorial optional button in the game? Also, when you go into a level selection but don’t have enough mushrooms/ energy, there is another forced button that doesn’t let you click away from the level which tries to force you to spend gems to buy more mushrooms to play the level. Points: No single player campaign; afternoon you finish all levels nothing happens... not even a screen. Cannot remove ads Village and upgrades irrelevant Can win just by "losing": each time you lose you get xp. After some time rewards. Can win levels just by retrying and waiting. At some point you'll level up or have money to buy enough upgrades. Every time I quit it makes me redo the tutorial. And I often end up on frozen pages where I have to restart the game. Please fix the bugs. With the original you know exactly what’s going on. This is just stuffed full of whatever it is. I have no idea. Whoever decided to put this together is trying to go down the same route other games have. Crammed full of freemium crap. Strip it back. Pizza vs Zombies did exactly the same with their sequel and although their’s is marginally better than this, it’s still an over complicated, harder game to play. I play it daily for 2 to 3 hours, never bored.
