I noticed that many others have had the same problem as me. BUT LISTEN UP!!!
The first time I loaded the app, it didn’t work. I never deleted the app and tried it not even 5 minutes later. It worked immediately. My problem was when the app loaded, a white screen appeared and it told me that it had the ‘503’ error.
Second time around, it loaded immediately and took me straight to the login page.
So y’all. Open the app, and if it doesn’t work, close the app and then open it again.

If click on a report.  The app opens the report,  however you do not get any navigation buttons or controls.  Nor do you get any way of printing the report.  You have to close the app and start over.  Very poor execution and even worse UAT (User acceptance Testing).  This product again isn’t cracked up to be what it’s trying to advertise itself as.  You need to pull this version and go back to the prior product as there needs to be way more testing before release.

I keep working my way through this app over and over in hope I will pick up something useful but there really isn’t much.  The app doesn’t make use of any of our site pages.  It doesn’t have a calendar sync option.  It doesn’t make use of announcements.  Its actually quite frustrating because I paid 5 bucks and I really want this show to have a happy ending but it never does.

This app was a waste of money.  The only thing I am able to record is attendance.  I have attempted to input advancements repeatedly, but they do not save using the app.  I have emailed customer service, but the issue has not been resolved.  You would be better off bookmarking the website on your phone for easy access, and recording from there.

This app is a tad slow and needs to be updated to the new menu seen UI all apps have now. This also needs a fix or remodel of online data transfer code. Seeing other reviews, some features are unavailable in data transfer in correspondence to the official website. This is quite serious for mobile users. There are good uses such as seeing my ranks, and Seeing the calendar events, and RSVP does work. However, the app compared to the website has limited features unlike the website, not to mention the SQL server source code... Anyway I would suggest adding more administrative options for admins, and functions to be able to create, edit, and remove events and achievements. Implementing a good amount of reasonable features for mobile the website has is needed very. The app can serve some basic functions but has a long way to go to 2019 quality.

I cannot do anything on the app. See events and RSVP and more importantly I cannot manage anything with monody accounts. I do not know what the app actually does, how do I get a refund.

There is no way to get a password or username reminder on the home page. No “forgot password?” question so I am completely unable to access the app to update my den.

The app is ok for checking on calendar items and checking to see who RSVP'd for an event. 

Other than that, it's pretty useless at this point. You can't even read the titles of the advancement items, which is supposed to be one of the benefits of the mobile app. 

Not worth it.

Seriously, this is just inexcusable. I can’t begin to describe how utterly abysmal the experience of “using” this completely unusable app is. I wouldn’t know where to start. If I wanted people to hate scouting, I would tell them to download this unbelievable piece of garbage.

This app is weird. I don’t like how it functions personally, and on my newer iPhone, (16), it is just a square and the top and bottom parts of my phone are just black. Needs work, it’s just the website.

I find I need to close the app and relaunch in order to navigate. Several links within the app lead to error message without a back arrow. Again, making it necessary to close the app and relaunch.

I tested the trial version for our troop and found
- trying to add information often failed.  I tried adding my son as a troop member and repeatedly clicked save but nothing happened.  I had the same trouble trying to create an event. The save button simply didn’t work.  I was able to add a new location (the save button worked here).  But I would used a free version - let alone a paid version - of an app that was this frustrating to use.
- some areas do allow for customization.  For example, it gives a default list of patrols that isn’t relevant to our troop and doesn’t let us customize the list.  But it requires this field in setting up new events.

I’m so frustrated with this app, it works about half the time. I have families who are having issues getting back into the app. It doesn’t load half the time. Emails don’t go out, they just vanish! With 70+ girls in my troop, I don’t have time for this.

It wouldn’t load on my moms device, and  on mine I couldn’t find a single thing I needed. It was almost as if I needed to check calendar to see my merit badges and the merit badges tab opened calendar. Don’t get it it’s useless.

Opening app prompts a “503 Service Temporarily Unavailable” error. This ‘temporarily’ error has been present for months now. Don’t waste your storage on this app, just use the website.

Son is crossing over to Boy Scouts and so I installed the app to check in with the troop. The app won’t load. And gives back the error above. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but it won’t work. I hope they fix it.

First of all, the app is free now, so I thought despite all the bad reviews from 3-4 years ago, I’d give it a try. It’s not as nice a layout as the desktop version, and seems to lack some of the features, but if I need information quickly, it works well.

At first I had trouble with the app at, it was showing error codes.  I sent an email and received a response within minutes!  They said to do the update and it works great now! Great customer service and love all the info on the app!!!

As a scoutmaster I often find the need to look up a scouts records while away from a computer. This app has made that so much easier. We have been users of troop track for some time now and I really like the ability to do core functions quickly. At a campout last week I was able to review a scouts progress with him, sign off on his merit badge work, update it into trooptrack and then provide an e-copy of the blue card for the advancement chair. Not sure it gets better than that. Love the app!

I don’t know why people are giving this app such a bad reputation. I admit that it is not the best format it could be, but for scouts that like planning and knowing what’s coming up next, this is great. At first there was a glitch that said “Error 503”, but I just got out and got back in and it worked.

This app works great on an ipad and is a little funny on a phone, in particular the Dashboard. But for members on my scout community they can easily up load pictures, see the calendar and access links for badges and activity info. Thanks for making it free!

This app is great for times when you want to record badge requirements on the fly, but often has glitches such as it not actually saving, plus badges that a girl has not started yet will not show up at all, so you have to mark a requirement complete on the web version for each girl to make it show up and then fix it later.
