I tried several others and found this app to provide the important status and notifications I was looking for. The interface is clear and organized. It has other more detailed screens too but the things that interest me most like what tropical storms and hurricanes are forming, where they are, their intensity, and where they're headed is easy to locate quickly. I have a notification popping up every couple of hours. In my opinion that’s excessive. If there is a way to change that please let me know. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. You can manage notifications in the notifications section, which can be accessed from the menu bar at the top-left. You are able to turn on/off entire regions and/or individual storms. The notifications for every storm are sent out as the National Hurricane Center posts updates, and their timing depends on the proximity to landfall (i.e. twice a day when it is far out to every x hours when it is close to US soil). Please feel free to reach out in the feedback section to discuss since I am always looking for ways to make the app even better. ### 3/5 — Screen will not rotate to landscape mode *2020-08-22, version 1.12.0* 95% of my hurricane tracking is done on an iPad with an external keyboard. If I have to remove it and turn to portrait mode I will not use it no matter what is being displayed. ### 4/5 — Update concern *2025-08-28* Loved this app and accessed it daily. As a Floridian it is important to watch the tropics. Knowing where the tropical waves were and where they were headed was helpful for planning, but the Weather Discussion feature is not longer available. Please bring it back. Not sure if that is in the premium but I live on a east coast island and resetting the filter every time I look, is a bit frustrating to reset it each time. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Who is the most accurate. Just having letters ascribed to the track doesn’t tell me about its reliability. Maybe add this in a future update?
