Pero... por qué no 5 estrellas? 
Es un poco desconcertante tener la Freq y la Reso en el orden inverso al que todos estamos acostumbrados.
A la larga, me resulta indiferente, porque me gusta el Controller, para agarrar con los dedos los botones físicos y lo configuro a la usanza. 
Maravillosos add ons en formas de onda y fx que convierten esta App en una auténtica bestia.

Der Entwickler ist bekannt für qualitativ hochwertige Soundgeneratoren und Tools. Auch Troublemaker ist prinzipiell ein wirklich exzellentes Instrument und klingt wirklich gut. Der Sequenzer ist intuitiv und mit das Beste, was ich bislang im Bereich Bass-Sequencing (mit dem Schwerpunkt Acid/Techno) gesehen habe. Die Programmierung ist wirklich einfach.

Leider (und das ist tragisch) enttäuscht Troublemaker die Liebhaber des klassischen 303-Sounds. Troublemaker klingt im Vergleich zu einer waschechten (und auch zu gut emulierten) TB 303 leider zu dünn und zu digital. Es fehlt an „Schmiss“ und auch die „klassischen“ Wellenformen reißen da nichts mehr raus.

Um nicht falsch verstanden zu werden: Troublemaker ist wirklich ein klasse Bass-Synthesizer und verdient - wenn man ihn nur als das sieht - mindestens 4 Sterne. Ich selbst habe mir tatsächlich mehr klangliche Nähe zur TB 303 gewünscht und auch erwartet und wurde in dieser speziellen Hinsicht leider enttäuscht.

Wie gerne würde ich einige meiner alten Rebirth-Tracks mit zeitgemäßen und halbwegs zukunftssicheren (virtuellen) Klangerzeugern neu aufsetzen. In dieser speziellen Hinsicht taugt Troublemaker leider nicht - für alle anderen Zwecke ist es allerdings ein Bass-Synth, den ich gerne und oft nutze.

Für mich persönlich reicht es nicht für 4 Sterne - hier müsste die Nähe zur ikonischen TB 303 noch hergestellt werden. Wer diesen speziellen Sound nicht braucht und lediglich einen vielfältig einsetzbaren Bass-Synth für alle Arten elektronischer Musik sucht, der wird hier fündig und kann beherzt zugreifen.

Sounds awesome but runs in background spinning the cpu and wasting your battery. Check the battery in settings and you’ll see it’s using energy even if you’re not using it! They need to fix this!

Wow i thought this was an amazing 303 ish app before and now it has a pretty darn good acid bassline in the AU. Sticker was a nice touch, i feel we are all closer as one and all is love!

the programmed patches are Not saved with the Notes and Midi out for notes doesn‘t work for me.
I would love to sequence my external synth with the Sequencer, that i‘ve a „303“ and my external..

Killer sound, just one caveat...I noticed on one of your other plugins that you added a radio option to adjust “step resolution” to other note lengths (i.e. triplets), not having this a standard feature across all your plugins is a major bummer. Hope this eventually changes! Keep up the great work

This is a standout app for the sounds it can create, but there’s still no ability to save parameters or to capture the correct octave when exporting as WAV.

**Developer response:** For asking questions email is a better channel than the App Store reviews section. Troublemaker is primarily designed as an Audio Unit plugin. When used in a plugin host all settings are saved inside the project state. The standalone app is mostly meant for fun and quick jamming.

The app is broken for me. I can only see the sequencer - the whole top section is missing. No sound is coming out. Also it doesn’t show up as plugin in AUM.

It’s practically unusable and this is unacceptable for a 10 euros app. Please fix it or I’m gonna ask for a refund.

Arpeggiator doesn’t load in Cubasis or Aum. Five days no reply to support inquiry. I had to buy Rozeta for another $10 just to have access to a decent arpeggiator, but found it had no randomization features. Developer has hobbled and hog tied the app with no explanation…I think a solution to my issue or a partial refund is in order cause I do like the sound of the synth part of the app. 
In fairness the problem could be with Cubasis and Aum. Cubasis has not responded either. 
This does not absolve this developer for blowing me off. I have never rated one star but now I get why people do. I wanna make music, what do developers want? Money? Not loyalty? Incredible.

Wie kann man das, was aus dieser App raus kommt, mit dem Sound einer 303 vergleichen??? Wer zu Glücklichen gehört, die den Rebirth RB-338 kennen, wissen das es geht. Wie auch immer, dachte dann nehm ich die App halt als Sequenzer, aber Midi-out funzt auch net. Alles in allem, eine doppelte Enttäuschung.

Diese App hat wohl zu Recht seinen Namen.
Unbestritten, klanglich und funktionell gesehen ist sie super.
Jetzt das große ABER: nach der Installation auf iPhone und auch iPad war der Akku auch ohne Nutzung schnell runter. Die App ist ein versteckter Stromfresser, für das SchweineGeld, welches man garantiert nicht wieder sieht...🤮

Runs in the background *without asking* and kills your battery. There’s no option to disable background audio. Every decent audio app that runs in the background tells you it’s doing this and gives you the option to disable it.

**Developer response:** Troublemaker is optimized for use as an AUv3 plugin. If you use it as a plugin no battery drain will happen. In standalone mode the app will run in the background -like many other music apps- and needs to be closed manually.

Nothing to see here. Just another lame 303 emulator that tries to add a new take but fails. Way too expensive for what it is. Maybe someday we'll get a good iOS 303 but not yet.

Mit wirklich starkem 303 Sound und sehr leicht zu bedienendem innovativen Sequencer. (Wesentlich besser als beim 303 Original). Schade ist nur, dass man diesen Sequencer nur Standalone benutzen kann und zum Beispiel nicht innerhalb von AUM und zusammen unserem Drum Sequencer OCTACHRON, was ich natürlich gerne mache. Dazu braucht man dann noch die Rozeta Suite, was bei diesen sehr moderaten Preisen allerdings auch noch okay ist.

I absolutely LOVE this app.
It’s utterly brilliant.
But I cannot figure out how to use it as an auv3 in GarageBand or logic pro. It just doesn’t seem to to have the same functionality, and is a stripped down version with a piano keyboard rather than the grid based system in the standalone version.
So I have to export midi files from the standalone and import them from my files app into my DAW.
And then place them into a Troublemaker instrument opened in the DAW.
Maybe that was the dev’s intention. Either that or I’m missing something obvious.
Still, it works that way, and has been an amazing bass tool, but the extra steps seem a little tiresome some days.
But…. as I said, I do love the app.

Just needs undo function, freeze some steps from randomisation, and 4-8 parts you can seeemlessly move between with copy paste and then it’s perfect.  Great app.  I still give it 5 stars now because it’s really great fun to use

This app sounds great! It’s the best sounding 303 emulation I’ve found so far and the extra waveforms are really usable. I also like the interface because it’s easy to see the whole pattern at a glance. It’s much easier to use than the regular 303 sequencer.

One thing I would wish for is cc mapping of the controls. From what I’ve read the values seem fixed, and they’re also fixed on my usb controller, unfortunately with no overlap. I’d prefer not to have to buy a new usb controller, but this app is so fun I just might.

I have tried many TB-303 copycats, both hardware and software, and nothing comes as close as this. Burbles and warbles like the real thing. Dynamic sound, lots of control, and the sequencer is dead easy to use as well if you want to work in- box.
