Will help optimize itinerary as well. It feels like it’s still growing and improving, but doesn’t feel unfinished in spite of that. The developer has been really responsive to feedback. I let him know something wasn’t working right and literally the next day an update came out to fix it. It’s got a very simple setup and design, but still has a lot of details. The way it’s all laid out on a map is great for planning purposes. I would like to see some way of adjusting the time between locations to reflect public transportation versus walking. I wish I had discovered it sooner. ### 5/5 — Love the Planning, Just Wish the Tips were Better *2026-04-05, version 1.8* I’ve been really enjoying using Trovelo as a private trip planner—it’s super helpful having everything organized in one place. The interface feels clean and modern, and it’s pretty easy to move around different sections. Planning trips feels way less stressful and actually kind of fun because of it. One thing I think could be improved though is the travel tips (and destinations) section. Right now, it feels a bit limited and hard to notice in the app. I’d love to see more useful, location-based tips—like local customs, safety advice, budget hacks, or just those “good to know” things when traveling. It would be even better if these tips popped up naturally while planning, like suggestions or prompts as you build your itinerary. Making them more interactive and easier to access would really level up the experience. Overall, Trovelo already has a really solid foundation and is easy to use. I’m excited to see how it grows and improves over time! ### 5/5 — Great Travel Planner for Family Trips *2026-03-28, version 1.4* Trovelo made our family trip to Kelowna so much easier and more organized. We used it to plan activities, keep track of our budget, and organize restaurant ideas, wineries, and places we wanted to visit with our kids. Everything was very simple to use, and I loved that it worked offline because we were driving around a lot. The app helped us stay on top of expenses without feeling stressed, and it was great to have all our plans in one place. The categories and trip cards were especially helpful for keeping everything organized during the weekend. Overall, it made our Kelowna family getaway smoother and more enjoyable. It lacks the ability to add PDFs or any images. With this one feature alone it would have been a 5 star review. Also there is no backup (option) for iCloud or USB, etc. **Developer response:** Thank you for this, genuinely! Your feedback hit home. We shipped iCloud sync and you can now add photos to your tasks, both automatically and manually. A lot of what's in the latest update came from reviews like yours. The app already now gives you all you ever wanted (and never thought of) for planning trips in all details and with a beautiful UI and is improving a few times per week together with the iOS companion app. The new integration for Claude/Codex is fantastic and you can one-shot a whole trip with day plan, must-sees to your liking.
