## What is Truck Bans?

Truck Bans is a fast, driver-first checker for truck driving bans across Europe — Sunday and public-holiday bans, the German summer Saturday ban, night bans, and the Ukraine heat ban — with the exact times, weight limits, fines and exemptions you need before dispatch.

Know instantly: can trucks drive today? When is the next ban? Where does it apply? And now: plan a whole trip and see every ban your route will hit before you leave.

WHAT YOU GET
• Bans active now — country, end time and minimum weight (e.g. HGV over 7.5t / 24t), updated automatically
• Next-ban countdown — see the next restriction and how long until it starts
• Month ban calendar — a full month grid with period selection: pick your dates and see every ban day across all covered countries
• Fines & exemptions per country — penalties for driving during the ban and who is exempt (perishable goods, ADR, live animals, emergency, military, empty runs…)

PLAN A TRIP
• Enter origin, destination and departure time — get your route on a map
• See which driving bans your route hits, country by country, along your trip
• Better-departure suggestions — the app proposes departure times that avoid bans or cut waiting time

TRUCK PARKING
• Find truck parking near you or along your planned route
• Filter by what matters: secure areas, fuel, food, showers
• Plan mandatory rests around ban hours

GERMANY
• Sunday and public-holiday truck ban (00:00–22:00, trucks over 7.5t, § 30 StVO)
• Summer Saturday ban (Ferienreiseverordnung, 1 Jul–31 Aug, 07:00–20:00) with the affected Autobahn (A-road) stretches on a map
• Full holiday list and 2026 ban calendar

UKRAINE
• Live heat ban per oblast — no heavy trucks above +28 °C (10:00–22:00), computed from weather forecasts, now on a live oblast map

NEWS
• Truck-ban news: rule changes, holidays, road closures and roadworks that affect your route, with an unread badge

MADE FOR DRIVERS & DISPATCHERS
• Follow only the countries you drive
• Dark & light themes, works offline, 20+ languages
• Clean, ad-light interface

COUNTRIES: Germany, Austria, France, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Greece, Ukraine and more.
