You can’t stop it - you may log you off to record night out (???) or you may switch god off in privacy’s setting but then you can’t use app again without switching Gps back on. There is no any info who is using really or storing those details. What details are incorporated name business- not like it. Only down side is email function if you don't reply to an email the first time you read it, the email disappears completely, so any important info is lost.
