## What is True Balance?

True Balance is a strength training app that answers the only question that matters when you walk into the gym: what should I do today? You never pick a muscle group, never build a routine, never wonder if you've skipped legs again. Tap once and the session is there — chosen, ordered, and loaded.

HOW IT DECIDES

Most apps hand you a template and hope you stick to it. True Balance keeps a rolling seven-day picture of your training across ten muscle groups, each with its own weekly set target. Every set you log credits the muscles it actually worked. Then it builds each session from whatever is furthest behind.

The guarantee is weekly, not daily. One workout may lean push or legs — but nothing is allowed to quietly fall behind. When everything reaches target, the week resets and it starts again.

It also knows what you did yesterday. Muscles trained recently are damped until they've recovered; the opposing pattern gets a nudge; a movement you just did is unlikely to reappear. Compounds come before isolation, big movers before small, core last — so the heaviest work always happens while you're fresh.

WEIGHTS THAT PROGRESS THEMSELVES

Hit the top of your rep range on every working set and the load goes up next time — 2.5 kg on compounds, 1 kg on isolation. Miss it and the weight holds. No spreadsheet, no guessing, no arguing with yourself at the rack.

BUILT AROUND YOUR ACTUAL LIFE

• Tell it what equipment you have — 113 exercises filtered to what you can genuinely do
• Save the places you train. Switch to "Away" for a hotel week and the barbell sessions stop
• Set your session length. It budgets against the clock and tells you when it had to trim
• Choose full body, upper/lower, or push/pull/legs — or let it decide
• Swap any exercise you don't fancy. It learns from what you keep swapping away

PRIVATE, AND FREE

No account to create. No email address. No advertising. No subscription, and no paid tier — every feature described here is simply in the app. Your training data lives on your device and in your private iCloud, and goes nowhere else. It is never sold and never shared.

Train the whole body. Stop planning it.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-09-09

Packs Six skill progressions that run alongside your normal training, not instead of it: first pull-up, first dip, twenty push-ups, handstand push-up, pistol squat, and bar muscle-up. Each pack is six stages. You move up when you earn it — never on a calendar.

AI Coach Ask why a lift stalled, what’s under-trained, or what to do today. Answers quote your own numbers, not generic advice, and run entirely on your phone with Apple Intelligence. Nothing about your training leaves the device.

Muscle map Library and Progress now use illustrated anatomy for every muscle group — each head drawn and coloured so you can see coverage, not just a set count. Tap a muscle and the map matches what you’ve actually trained.
