It has multiple different ways of interaction: reading, listening, audio recording. Its designed to help you focus for the time you are in the app. Its for anyone not wanting to get distracted. If you are like me and you go on youtube or social media and try to stay on the muslim side but then find yourself 15 minutes later watching an elephant do a backflip then this app helps with that. You cant scroll into random things because the entire app is designed to go from one form of learning to another, as long as youre in the app you will get religious benefit and you can worship. Try it out, its really good. I highly recommend incorporating this for your own learning. It has all levels and interesting books. I really like that it has a section where you can read the hadith book in the app, this app is designed to have everything religious learning wise within it so you dont go to different websites and get distracted, before this app as soon as you wanted to start researching you may watch islamic videos then want to research hadith mentioned or tafsir talked about and then as you are switching between apps, social media, internet you get distracted by things you remember to do but could wait. But why not just do this task or this chore real quick…this app fixes that, stay within it, nothing else for a period of time, 30 minutes in the app is probably equal to a few hours doing self study. I will say, the verification email took about 3 minutes to fully load and let me choose topics i'm interested in. The app itself is great, says i'm in the early access plan, nowhere can i put the code that the instagram ad mentioned to me. Another fix i would recommend is that anything with separate audios, like each aya of the quran, should have less of a gap between them. One aya would finish and take about 2-3 seconds to get to the next aya. I found this app to be really easy to use and skip across between Islamic history, scholarly books, Qur’an and hadith. I subscribed through the web , now I can’t unsubscribe, the web site redirects me to the Apple Store while I’m subscribed through the web , I tried contact through What’s Up, Telegram , Email nobody responded and few days ago I been charged again . Plus constantly I getting emails about new books , sometimes two during a day and also there is no way to unsubscribe from them. ### 1/5 — App Not Working *2025-10-02* After updating to iOS 26, the app doesn’t work. I’m sincerely grateful toward Allah for this benefit but unfortunately I’m not able to send any of this content to my surroundings (and the Muslim community here) because they don’t understand English. I’m a 100% sure, and Allah knows best, that it would benefit to so so many French muslims or even African muslims (who speak French) if you make the contents avalaible in this language. While online you can find PDF’s of books from scholars or Muslim authors on certain Islamic topics… but that does come with a risk of not knowing what site you are on or what you’re actually downloading. Essentially, every time I am pushing download on a book I am praying it isn’t a virus! I trust Muslims don’t get me wrong, but you really don’t know who is on the other side of that web page. This app is the answer to my struggles in my quest for knowledge (true Ilm even). I have enjoyed my usage of the True Ilm application for a few reasons: 1) It is a secure venue and avenue where I can access the books I like but also find new books in a safe manner from a trustable source. 2) I am able to have a whole library in my phone with the touch of a finger. 3) You can customize which types of literature you are interested in; meaning the user experience is extremely friendly (especially for someone who is not good with technology or those who experience choice fatigue). 4) For someone who is usually traveling or moving around a lot in their life, the audio book option is a necessity for me as I often don’t have time to sit and just read. 5) The vast selection of literature ranging from elaborate books to ones for those who struggle with reading or even youth is amazing. I highly recommend this book to everyone who wants to develop the habit of reading or even have youth who you want to start reading.
