The lack of alternative sounds, the poor sensitivity of the touch areas make this metronome not a top pick. I chose it because of its apparent authenticity. For a digital metronome it’s pretty poor In my humble opinion. ### 5/5 — Best Sounding App *2024-09-16* Thanks for quickly fixing the loading issue! This app sounds just like my piano instructors metronome wooden Wittner metronome. Others have fake sounds that tend to distract me. I normally use it with a small external speaker I set away from the piano so it is in the background and keep my phone next to me to change tempo. I also like that compared to a real one, I can use it with my AirPods underneath my pianos over the ear headphones when I need to practice in silent mode late at night. **Developer response:** Thank you! My only criticism is that it is quite difficult to start it without changing the speed you set it at, because the dragging part is very sensitive, however, I did find a way around this because it starts if you just tap the screen. I also particularly like that when you close the app and then open it again, it stays on the speed you were last using it on, which is particularly useful since I’m playing a piece that has a particular speed.
