I have used this app for years now and had no problem, but starting yesterday (Dec. 15, 2025) it now gives me prompts on how to use the app but the prompts won’t go away and allow me to use the metronome.

**Developer response:** You can tap anywhere on screen to dismiss the tooltip.

I use several different metronome apps when I want specific features (SoundBrenner for the whole screen flash on beat one when playing with a group, Smart Metronome and Timer when I need the temp or time signature to change during a piece) but this is my go to app when I just need a simple beat, one click per beat with a clear bell on beat one. It might seem minor but it’s really good that it starts instantly when you open the app.

So Anyway keeping Time is such a esoteric subject.
I love this App I have to admit I have lots metronome apps and physical ones. I just gave away a vibrating Brenner watch one to my drummer.
But there is something about this that has that “I don’t know”.
For some reason a acoustic one always slightly out. 
Anyway good app.

I am a professional classical musician. I have tried well over twenty metronome apps. A few of these have great functions; I still use them. But I've searched in vain for an app that has a sound like the mechanical pendulum metronomes I grew up using. Despite all the sound options offered by many apps, this is the ONLY one I've found that's truly convincing. Excellent. Thank you.

This metronome does work, but refuses to align to movement of my iPad (the advertising claims it will work) which causes problems. Firstly the iPad has to sit on one side with speakers which isn’t ideal and is completely unusable whilst the iPad is charging as it would require it to sit on the side the cable it plugged into so is not possible. It is possible to use the app with the metronome on it’s side but doing this ruins the aesthetic of the skeuomorphic metronome interface. If the screen would realign in all four directions, instead on just the least desirable one, this would be a great app and ideal for me. As it is, this app was not worth buying and I wish I had realised at the time there is also a ‘lite’ version I could have tried first.

I bought this as aid for improving gait and movement in Parkinson's - the comments on the app were very good.But I have never had a metronome, and never been concermed with the ins and outs of its historical use. I wanted an easy to use app on my mobile where all you had was a simple way of changing the beat interval and with an easy to set loudness.

I spent over an hour trying to get anything to work - there were no instructions that i could find. It was not intuitive to me and all the information seems to be provided here. 

I want to know what to push or swipe to make each function start and stop. not easy if you have a tremor either

The bell is like something out of a Stephen King movie about a supernatural doll with no choice to change it. After the bell, I get a loud tick and then the rest are quiet until the bell again but sometimes they are all loud. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the same weird and totally distracting nonsense. I don’t suppose the developer cares, he has my money. Talking of which, you pay to get the full version and then still have to pay more if you want a new skin. Not very good.

Звучание можно назвать идеальным для электронного метронома.Но,как многие тут уже писали,принципиално важной функции - работа в фоновом режиме - нет.И еще было бы неплохо минимизировать интерфейс.Маятник - это конечно красиво,но абсолютно бесполезно
 Прошло полгода с момента написания отзыва.Автор не учитывает замечания трудящихся.В связи с чем меняю оценку с 4-х звезд на 1

A very practical and functional metronome app.

It has the features I need, is easy to use, and stays focused on what matters most without unnecessary complexity. The interface is straightforward, and it takes very little time to set up and start practicing.

What deserves special mention is the developer's support. I contacted him with a few suggestions, and he responded quickly, thoughtfully, and professionally. To my surprise, some of those suggestions were implemented and released in a new version of the app shortly afterward.

This app is an electronic metronome with one bell and no unnecessary whistles. Set the BPM, optional sound on a particular beat if you want and go. You can also tap the beat on the screen and it will set the tempo. Its simplicity is a feature.
