## What is True Retail Therapy?

Retail Therapy is a shopping app that lets you do everything you love about online shopping; Browse, compare, read reviews, fill your cart, hit checkout, with absolutely nothing you hate; No real money. No bills. No real consequences. Just the satisfying ritual.

Open the app and you're handed a synthetic persona: A believable name, address, and demo card, so the checkout forms have something to fill them. Everything you'd be asked to enter on a real shopping site is already there, made up. The credit card is fake. The order is fake. The "delivery" is a sequence of polite local notifications about a parcel that doesn't exist. Return to the app to add reviews to products that have been delivered and watch your rating affect the overall product rating.

A QUIETLY CURATED CATALOG

Hundreds of products across apothecary, audio & hi-fi, kitchen, fashion, objects, furniture, tabletop, makeup, games, and toys. Every product has a name, a brand, a price, photos, specs, and customer reviews. All generated, all clearly fictional but with the feel of genuine products. Filter by price, sort by rating, save favorites to a wishlist, browse editorial collections like "Cozy at home," "Hi-fi starter kit," "First apartment," and "The slow kitchen."

THE RETAIL THERAPY CARD

Apply for a simulated store credit card. Fill out a 30-second application, watch the brief approval workflow live, and get approved at a credit limit picked from your fictional income. Charge orders against it, pay it down whenever, close it and apply again at a different tier if you want a different look. No interest, no late fees, no minimums, no real money. Just the ritual of a credit card without any of the consequences, just another thing to feel good about.

NO ACCOUNTS, NO TRACKING, NO REAL DATA

Retail Therapy never asks for your real name, email, or payment information. There's nothing to enter. Your wishlist, cart, persona, and order history live on your device only. There's no account to create, no login to remember, no data syncing to a server. No advertisements, no third-party trackers, no analytics SDKs. Delete the app and the only trace will be a happier afternoon.

DESIGNED FOR THE PACING, NOT THE PURCHASE

Every detail is built to extend the experience, not to monetize it. Orders move through real shipping stages over an hour. Sale items rotate daily. Reviews read like real reviews. Brand pages, collections, badges... the small affordances that make a shopping site feel real are all here, working exactly the way they would on a site where the bag actually arrives at your door.

Therapy through shopping. No bills. No guilt.
