You could skate, and organically gain bolts to customize, and repair your board, but now it feels like you have to complete a list of tasks to do that, like you have to play the game a certain way. I like how getting new parks is easier, but the earn as you play thing was really a core part of the game. I really like this game please correct me if I’m wrong, and if I’m not add it back, don’t go the way of touchgrind. ### 4/5 — turn off the auto reset when you stop for a second??? *2026-08-19, version 1.6.9* i was just basking in the glory of one of my lines and when i went to replay it the game freaking reset and now it’s lost forever. boo ### 4/5 — The perfect game! Hands down! *2026-08-18, version 1.6.9* I’ve been on this game for as long as I’ve owned a smart phone. Back when it was free, which by the way is not a problem this is a 10/10 game. I feel it’s way worth the small price tag it’s got on specially for the devs. (Love yall) however why the change ? I unfortunately uninstalled because I just couldn’t get it and found my progress through the years I had made was all for nothing. I can’t lie though I missed it too much so here I am again. But only after finding out from a review on how to change the game somewhat what it used to be like. that is why with a pained heart I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. Other than that please I implore you to try this game out! However, in this new update, they took that feature away and made it so you can only get 12,000 bolts per day through poor challenges. I have scoured every help forum, every review, and every video I could find to try and see if I could still earn bolts by just naturally playing the game. The only thing I’ve found is the developers response to a review stating “oh, free skate mode still exists!”. But they don’t say how to activate “free skate mode”. This has actively ruined the game for me, since now I get so many less bolts per session. Instead of getting around 20k-50k bolts per day, I now get around 6k-8k bolts per day. They released a new update this week that voided every single purchase I’ve ever made in the game. I don’t mind maps being unlockable, but I paid for “Custom Decks” which now cost ‘coins’. I paid for “Free Customization” which now costs ‘coins’. I paid for all the maps in the game, which are now unlockable for free. No reimbursement, no explanation, no heads up. This feels like a scam to me. I find it ridiculous that I spent $30+ to get all of the skateparks in the game just for them to get taken away unless I complete challenges that take the fun out of the game for me. Now we have a gravity slider” to get precise with control. There is no gamepad “controller style” game that can ever mimic or compete with direct interaction ON SCREEN with the skateboard deck, and actual physics. They drop FREE maps thru LIVE events multiple times a year… or If you opt to Sub to sandbox, you instantly expand your map arsenal by around 100 original Community Created maps. They added missions to the skateparks which is awesome but they also immediately ruined the game. During the missions there’s a row translucent wheels with numbers below them. It is actively blocking the players view. I’ve tried every setting to turn it off but you can’t. So I clicked it and it wants you to buy a booster or something. Also where they placed the translucent wheels at makes it easy to accidentally click when playing the game normally. Just let us turn this hud element off.
