Completely limited in our ability as coaches to message clients through the app - every time I attempt to open a conversation, it causes the app to crash.

Good for viewing workouts and commenting on those, but more functions such as nutrition and amending workouts would make this very useful.

Screen goes white when you click on an unread message or even try to message someone. As that’s really the only feature this app provides (which is also unfortunate), it’s completely useless unless you just want to see the first few words of a clients message to you.

Seems as though they’re trying to bake this app into the main one which is a good idea but that’s not working yet either. Feels like I’m paying for a program designer but not a coaching and communicating tool with my clients. Looking for alternatives that are aesthetically pleasing. Not a fan of trainerize look or else I’d use them.

I would love for this app to be a full version of what I get logging into it on the computer. I use Trainerize and TrueCoach. Trainerize’s app for the coach is far better because I can program and see everything. With TrueCoach you can only message and see workouts completed. I would have to log into the browser in order to see future workouts, add to the calendar, etc.. 

I love TrueCoach and it would make it a much easier choice between the two biggest training apps if TrueCoach had a better app for the Coach. 

Please help the coach even more by giving us a better app to deliver the best experience possible for our clients.

### 2.8.1 — 2022-05-03

2.8.0 changed how videos and images captured in-app behave, and unfortunately that made it so that videos longer than a minute (or larger than 100mb) would fail to send. We’ve smoothed those issues out and improved that experience in a few ways:
- If an image/video message fails to send we do a better job telling you why it failed (sometimes the problem isn’t your phone or your internet connectivity!)
- If a message fails to send, you can now delete it instead of attempting it again (if you’d like)
- You can record longer videos again
- If an image or video is uploaded from your photos library, we will let you know if it’s too big to send.

Other Bugfixes:
- Comments with multiple lines will now show up as expected rather than condensed down to one line
- Archived clients will now disappear from your conversations list!
- Messaging clients for the first time will no longer require refreshing on the main conversations list to see the message(s) sent
- We’ve resolved several issues with sending messages to multiple clients

New features:
- New coaches looking to use Truecoach can go to our website to sign up for an account easily if they don’t already have one
- If your clients accidentally download this app they can see a link to take them to the Truecoach for Clients app on the login screen

And of course, numerous other bugfixes and improvements.

We’ve added a number of improvements, including:

- Better support for gifs throughout the app.
- Swiping to mark a conversation as read/unread is now just a swipe-- no need to also tap a button!
- Instead of scrolling the workout activities page to see and add comments, there is now a button to show comments. Comments can be hidden once shown.

This release also includes several bug fixes and performance improvements.
